ptsd Ptsd Cp Exam
I have a PTSD CP exam on Oct. 6. At my first PTSD exam I was rated at 30 percent, but the doctor wanted only information related tg a war zone. Would it be a good ideal to bring up the fact that I had a terrible experience prior to Vietnam. I had a medical issue that the military doctors could not recognize and therefore had to suffer. I was forced to climb telephone poles and fall down and fall down and fall down. It got so bad that Congressman Hamilton had to get involved. The military said that all I needed to get out of the course was to say I was scared of heights. I refused because that was a lie. The doctors would laugh at me and send me out for more punish…

Amc Or Regional Office ?
I had an appeal mental health C&P exam last month ordered by the AMC. I tried to get a copy of the exam a couple of weeks later and was told by the ROI that the Dr would not release a copy because I had to get it from the RO whom had requested it. They didn't request it, the AMC did was what I told her. She said that it was sent to the RO and to contact them. I called the 800# and was told that they had not received the results yet, but to write a letter and request a copy and when they received the results a copy would be sent to me. I did this a couple of weeks back. I decided to call today to find out if they had received the results and guess what t…

Va Called My House
I have 2 claims waiting to be rated ( before rating board as of 08 / 2010) and a claim on appeal to be called by the BVA. All of my C & P exams was finished in May 2010. VA called my house today to schedule a C & P exam for a claimed which was denied in the past. This is the same claim waiting to go before the Board. This appealed was filed in 02 / 2009. Is it normal for them to call me at home to schedule and exam? All of my other exams appts were made by the hospital and they told me when to come in a letter. Thanks, Woody

C&p Exam Monday
After 9 months of trying to get my C&P exam rescheduled Im finally having it Monday. They have me scheduled for 3 different appointments. Is this normal? I have a claim in for quite a few things. So Im assuming this is for different doctors to exam different things. Should I bring my medical records with me from service, as well as xrays/bone scans or should I assume that the C&P doc has all this from my submitting it to the regional office? Also Ive been treated at 3 different VA's in different states. Should I bring my treatment records from each of those as well? I know my doctors have a hard time looking at notes from different hospitals. Anything …

Cervical Mri
since I don't know how to scan a copy of my MRI to this post, I guess I'll have to type it out. Hope someone with more smarts than me can decipher some of the problem's I been having over the years. While in the service I injured my neck playing a football game. That was in 1974. Went to the clinic and took xrays but came out neg. My SMR notes that, and the symptoms I carped about, such as neck pain, popping when I turn the neck, and shoulder pain. Now lately I'm losing complete motor control on left arm. I mean I'll get this sharp pain down to my elbow, then my entire arm goes limp, (don't go there guys)ha. Well anyway here's my MRI dated 07/08. FINDINGS: A degenerat…

ptsd Ptsd With Depressive Symptoms, Anxiety And Insomnia
I was rated 50% PTSD almost a year ago. I have since appealed this for an increase, because my symptoms seem worse, and I have found additional proof of traumatic events. In my very first claim, I reported Anxiety and Insomnia also. They denied me all of it, until I sent in my first bit of proof of PTSD. (Sworn Statements from traumatic events) When it came through, it said... post traumatic stress disorder with depressive symptoms, 50 percent. I'm guessing my Anxiety and Insomnia were still denied. I am heading out to the VA next week for my appeal C&P. Do I need to point out specifically to this examiner that I have anxiety and insomnia? Or are they going to give me…

C&p Exam
Completed the C&P yesterday for increase of DVT and Pulmonary Embolism. The exam was complete and the examiner was very nice. She spent a lot of time examining my lower legs for feeling. There seemed to be problems. Here is my question. Would there be a link between 2 SC knees and the nuropathy? (spelling ?) My PC doctor has already listed the nuropathy of the legs in the list of my medical problems.
