Depression Secondary To Tinnitus C&p
Waiting since 8/30 for a answer to claim, if you have some insight on the following C&P examiners medical opinion: Is vet's depression due to or caused by his service-connected tinnitus? Depression was at least as lakely as not (50/50 probability) aggrivated by vet's service-connected for tinnitus. Rational for opionion given: Vet has a hx of inconsistencies in his self-report, as noted by several VA psychologists. The vet did comment to this examiner about how tinnitus has affected his concentration and ability to focus, as well as his mood (80%). This examiner has only the vet's self-report to make a determination of the degree to whigh his tinnitus affects …

Copy Of My C&p Today, Bad News Huh?
Sorry I posted this on the wrong forum earlier..... I received a copy of my C&P exams today........... Copy Of My C&p Today, Bad News Huh?, C&P 'lingo' What does this mean? Exam #1 "I feel that it is less likely than not that her current back condition is related to the fall in service" Exam #2 "Based on the available information, I find it less likely than not that the veteran's current depression is secondary to her military experiences." Does this meant that BOTH C&P's are negative??

Do C&p Docs See Last Docs Notes?
I am curious about C&P results from 1 exam to the next. If I had one today, and I have another scheduled for next week, will the doctor I see next week already see the notes from the doctor today? Just curious if I am going to have to cover the same information, or are they actually going to read it and discuss other information? Thanks for your input.

Resolved Service Connection Condition
Had a C&P done for Cervical/Lumbar strain. Examiner, who was a physician assistant stated that my SC condition has resolved and that my recurrent strains are from degenerative disc disease. She did not ask for a medical opinion. I had continued problems since I left the service and took documentation with me. The only x-rays that were done in-service at the time of the injury were in the neck area and not the low back because we were out in the field. No MRI's were ever ordered in-service. I had them done in the private sector, and thats why she states I have disc disease. My range of motion has me in the compensation level of 40%. How do I fight this examine…

C&p Exam
At my recent Exam the PA notes state "cannot determine without speculation" throughout his exam notes, other than range of motion/pain level findings which he did note. They are very favorable. My question is,?... What will the rater do with these findings about "speculation"???? Thanks all, William

Use Of Tape Recorder During C&p Exam
At some point in my claims process I got a copy of the precident about using a tape recorder during a C&P exam (please note - I am NOT talking about a claims hearing but only about a C&P exam). I have just uncovered that document and it can be found here: http://www.va.gov/ogc/docs/1991/PREC_04-91.doc I have two questions: 1. Where can you find VA precedent papers like these? Please post a link to a search engine or where on the VA site you can find them. I know in another thread Wings posted another precident on another topic so I'm hoping there's a place on the internet to search for them. 2. Does anyone know or know how to find out if there's b…

C&p Exam
Hi fellow vets...I have an appeal currently at the rating board. I recently sent in a request for my C&P exam back in 2007. I got in the mail recently and discovered the exam had 3 clear errors. There was one statement made by the VA examiner that I made a comment that I never made. Also he had information that was incorrect in the exam that would be detrimental to granting my claim. I recently sent the VA and DAV a letter outlining the mistakes/errors that are misleading or otherwise outright wrong. The problem is if I didn't request and get a copy I would have never known of these mistakes that could have a negative outcome for my appeal. Always get a copy o…
