ptsd C&p Diagnosis Axis 1 And Axis 5
Hi everyone, I had my C&P exam last June 2007 and the doctor diagnosed me with: 309.81 Post-Tramaic stress disorder, chronic. 300.21 Panic disorder with agoraphobia. 309.0 adjustment disorder with depressed mood. Axis 5 GAF 53 My question is I filed a claim for PTSD ( I have the stressor in my SMR, and in my diagnosis from my reg. VA mental hygene clinic, and secondary depression due to chronic migraines that I'm service connceted at present at 50%, why is the agoraphobia listed with the depression and not the PTSD as I was told by my regular VA doctor, and will this hurt me in my PTSD claim? My psch. told me that He had entered into my VA medical records t…

C&p For Depression
I had a C&P examination today to increase my disability rating for depression which is currently 30%. I cannot remember everything but can remember the following 1. Loss of engaging in pleasurable activities Have not been interested in sex for six months. He asked if I could, I told him yes but have had no desire. He asked if I had friends I hang out with and I told him no. I pretty much just spent time reading and isolate through the reading. 2. He asked about my job. I have been written up for arguing with a coworker, have been denied a promotion and have continued to argue with coworkers and been short with the residents at the facility at which I work. I als…

Ivds Spine - Got Copy Of C & P Exam Results
Already SC 10% for c-spine; was involved in a MVA back April 08 and started having spasms in neck which reinjured an old MVA from when I was on AD. This is the last page from a C&P done in June 08 for spine increase, which also says on the front that "C-file was: not requested by VARO, Medical records were: not requested by VARO; comments on records: VISTA CPRS REVIEWED" (what ever that means)! B) The attachment also the beginning (first page) of a C&P from April 06, and as you can see, it says, "REVIEW OF MEDICAL RECORDS: No C-File to review" and it states that throughout for each condition that was examined; some of the examined issues where SC at what I …

My Claim Decision Came Today And Po'd
My decision came today with both good and bad news. The good news is that they granted service connection for a "Fracture, left third and fourth metacarpals status post open reduction and internal fixation with scar". Of course, they couldn't deny that since I fell off of an obstacle during training and I had to have a metal plate and four screws put into my hand. So why am I infuriated? I got a big fat goose egg for my rating. They based it on range of motion and "Joint function is not additionally limited by pain, fatigue, weakness, lack of endurance, or incoordination after repetitive use." That is absolutely false. The Muskogee VA Regional Office is using a thi…

C & P Exams
Hey Folks, During my C&P exam the PA who did my exam did not have access to the computer, being that it was "down" at the time. I doubt that he reviewed my service records as i personally had to point/find dates, notes, in my SMR for him. Additionally,in part on my Hep C exam, he stated i have had childhood tatoos...Hate too knitpick but do i have true recourse if i need too??? Thanks, William

tdiu Going For Tdiu Examination.
Just found out from the toll free number, I am going for an unemployability C&P. I called straight to the VAMC and it is scheduled for the 20th of August. I thank My dear God above the C&P is with the first PhD Psychologist who was so kind to me for my first C&P. October 18, 2004. He gave me the "More likely than Not" my Anxiety was the result of service. Of course this didn't suit with the VA so I went before the two quacks alone. Of course their decision was a P.D. Disorder and not a result of service. BVA and the AMC and back to BVA Judge granted benefits. It is written by the Doctor in this C&P of 2004, I las…

Had 1st Cp Exam
I filed my SC claim on Dec. 4/07, had my CP exam today..Was told when i called(C&P Cilinic) a couple days ago, what the purpose of the exam was for, they told me "Joints".. I arrived on time but yet waited 20 mins. for the Physicians Asst... I was caught off guard, when he stated it was for Hep. C , also. He asked if i had tatoos,(no) did intravenous drugs,(no) or had unprotected sex,(mmmm).....Nonetheless, i answered all questions asked, to the best of my ability. Then he had me lay down for measurements, for knee range of motion, and pain stages. ( I gave him my worst day for both range of motion and pain) Next, asked me if I could stand and then asked me to bend…
