  1. More then doctor had opinioned about my ADHD being exacerbated by my sTBI that is service connected it already has PTSD sleep disturbances and cognitive disorder under its rating for the residuals of my TBI Benefit Application Under Review A medical decision has been made and we are working to process your benefit application. A Social Security Representative may contact you directly if we need any additional documents or information. hopefully this means not much longer I'll know if I was going to submit the doctors from my SSA TBI exam which said I can't work due to my cognitive and functional impairments. I just hope the doctor agreed signed off on the DDS evaluation. Because an approval would benefit my Permanent and total claim I've been waiting to submit because of my SSA claim..Hate anxiety and insomnia won't be fun tonight
  2. So i don't get confused Buck52 I go on ebenefits file for a new claim I was going to file a new secondary to my sTBI and an increase in my headaches. For my evidence attach the letters from my Neurologist and i was going to submit evidence the VA doctor also opinioned about my childhood ADD being exacerbated by the TBI and wants to try putting me back on Ritalin as I was when I was like 10 years old discontinued using before high school. Was an honor student in High School was a class leader of my Mos school in Pensacola and also recieved Marine of the quarter just two weeks before my sTBI. I never returned to that cognitive function but yet they kept me in because I wanted to be a marine and physically I was able to pass a 1st class PFT 4 months after being in a month long coma. 2007 they mentioned my ADD in my neuropsych after my TBI and then again in 2010 when exiting before the VA service connected my TBI they diagnosed me with it in 2011 and tried Strattera but had to discontinue because of the fatigue side effects that was counter productive with my TBI. I know SC for ADHD is supposively impossible but when I have had several VA doctors all opinion my TBI has neurocognitive deficits and it also has ADHD from his childhood exacerbated by his TBI. I figure maybe I should file for it now the doctor just opinioned it again one week ago don't think it can hurt I'm already 100% IU now.
  3. I dont need to sound like an idiot but I cannot figure out how Im requesting P and T with the correct form. I thought the person said it was 21-526EZ but there is no block to check or no statement to enter it in requesting it.My recent neurologist has agreed that 11 years now my residuals are definately permanent now I just have to maintain treatment and change habits to make my life sustainable. What is the proper way to fill out the form on ebenefits? Do you just attach a letter with the claim the last time I did they denied saying I didnt request with the proper form....
  4. So what was the final rating?
  5. Attorneys are good for filing expediting it is on you by calling and emailing if you cant do it Ill try and help who I can with what I know.
  6. I once called 3 times in a row after you sit 17 minutes it disconnects immediately but just call back someone will answer
  7. PLEASE everyone I'M not making it up all members Its verified!!! Like I said he may not get back right away but dont let that stop you also email the new Secretary he has had contact with my RO and had them call me to update me...
  8. Ask Shuman I am telling you call that number now before it to late they close at 430 everyday dont bother calling after 4 dont call between 1100 to 1 or before 9 . The MAGIC hours of your future awaits your answers. LOL
  9. Your welcome the VA drives my wife nuts because it drives me crazy I'm just trying to shed my crazy obsessed nature of information I've found for all my hadit.com. My neurologist laughed at me when his associate that works there at the VA was having issues with a 700 day old appeal. I got an inquiry submitted in for him by calling that number I provided him, attorneys don't need your appeals moving faster that's less money for them, you need it moving quicker. My attorney gets frustrated with me he has said well he sees no more benefit representing me since I'm at 100% but he started my second appeal which he said he will still do.
  10. He absolutely does work there his role has changed since ms Hickey which is why he said if I have any claims related question call that number they will help... Which is why I am passing it on to all you. He still will answer your email might take ten days but he does answer all. Search Ted Ebert email on here and a past post of mine will pop up..
  11. So initially denied in 2011 by the Tiger Team and I decided to give up. Until GM called me and said my car was at fault, and I suffered Post traumatic amnesia of months prior and after the accident so I had no memory of what happened. I didn't file a DRO hearing until I hired an attorney that is when my emails and calls began beginning of 2015. I had my DRO expedited from ms hickey when I presented here with the forensic report. It was scheduled the next month. The DRO then said I had a good case but she was allowed to grant it but she did however laid all my evidence out in the order I needed it for my appeal she also certified my appeal here set and then sent it to the BVA. This when I found out Ma hickey stepped down and Mr Ebert still helped me at the BVA 5 months after my DRO hearing I had a decision from the BVA. Of course in those 5 months I called daily to hear progress from the number i gave. The office is very small to the point I knew 4 of their names when they answered the phone. As far as DRO officer it wasn't all her fault because she was doing what OGC said to do even when they knew I had no SOC from 2011. Worked in my favor again it was the reason my CUE was allowed even though in the judgement she said it was not a cue because I was never given a SOC. The xxxx it's not it's called they xxxxxx up got caught the definition of CUE but at least it was a win finally.
  12. Sometimes a claim is picked for review as I had for mine but it was just an internal thing and made no difference for you the claim has already been decided as was my case
  13. It's not it could mean a couple of things but one is that all your issue or issues where not all granted but rather remanded for an exam or what not. Check your disabilities list to see what's still pending or what they are all rated...
  14. I already had an attorney for my appeal he gave me the copy
  15. I am telling you Gastone call that number They can answer any questions. For example my first appeal Dec 2015 was certified by the DRO that month and sent to the board. Calling that number and emailing a few such as the secretary My claim was flagged for hardship. My attorney waved the hearing by May 6 I had won my appea retro in the bank 3 weeks later 96k. My second appeal now has just been certified and again is moving and yes everything is digitized papers been burned so to speak... using that number I was able to get three inquiries on that appeal it never stopped moving had I not called so often even with the hardship it would have been longer that and withdrawlimg my hearing request...
  16. Ok so I can't respond to all posts with the same answers and to prevent Me from.missing your post. If your claim is stuck or appeal is stick more then 60 days don't feel like it's the norms. Please listen to that 60 days start asking what will get my claim moving actually call as much as you they can see the trend on their system (202) 530-9470 to get your shit rolling pardon my french. Sometimes things take time but waiting for two months like my last claim Is BS , it says pending a download for two months just to say never mind its not even needed pissed me off. But had I not called every week for two months they wouldn't have sent in an inquiry to see why something was pending. I called the above number sometimes you wait for 17 minutes it disconnects call again and again someone will pick up. Please Vets don't allow your claim to sit I understand the process takes time things take time to due process but to have a wait time on something past it's suspense is not happening to any vets I'll help without an inquiry being submitted by the staffers at the number I provided. If you called daily as I did and if you ask they will give you a date and it's different at times then the one you see on ebenefits. If you get a warning saying something is due on ebenefits call them and they will tell you why it's there and explain it's a VA reminder to start moving your claim. but let them tell you whats moving to prepare for the next step. This number has shaved years off my claims and appeals.
  17. I am sorry I wasn't updated on anything on my posts but to answer yes they will answer anything about either your appeal or claim. Sorry for a late reaponse
  18. This is a copy of my Neurologist exam for my TBI paid for by SSA I talked to the adjudicator at DDS she had me go to this and fill out my RFC. I was in wait for my VA neuropsych test that I hand delivered her today she seemed happy she said she was going to submit her paperwork to the Ssa doctor for finalizing. Hope that's a good sign when I asked for a copy of the exam she was happy to get it for me I said just in case I need a copy to have a third party look at it. She said you'll be fine you will know next week. I can't do any unexpected delays my doctor want to send me to inpatient care for my TBI and my wife's having our baby next month. The va says I don't have to check in for the PTRP program for a year after my child is born so there are at least accommodating my new life in my life.
  19. Your results are alittle confusing to me did you ever get knocked out or had a bump on the head.
  20. Well ok hopefully someone will delete this
  21. I second they are trying to relate it with another health issue in my case they said they are caused by my cognitive impairment from my sTBI rated it at 0 so it would be nice if they give you 50 but my guess is no increase since they related it to your other conditions but hell if I could figure out how they rate I wouldn't still be a 0 having filed an increase twice...
  22. SC 0% guess but I'm no expert just the fact they said no pain is why my guess is 0
  23. Definately need an IMO to review your record but he might opined that it was a moderate concussion if it wasn't stated a mild TBI already
