  1. I paid Dr. Bash to do 7 IMEs for me. He did them all with great attention to detail. The VA ordered me 4 c&p examinations based on Dr Bashs ime's. Unfortunately the VA never notified me of these pending c&p examinations, so I never attended them. The VA then closed my claim and had a VA dr give his reasoning on all contentions as to why I was denied. Every ime dr bash wrote, this dr gave reasoning as to why it was denied. Often he admitted that there was reasoning for service connection but still denied. I feel that if I had been properly notified of my c&p exams and attended I would have likely been service connected. In great disapointment, I contacted Dr Bash to let him know how the VA had screwed me on the c&p exams and how they had their VA dr try to disprove everything dr Bash had said in his IMEs. I expected nothing other than to let Dr Bash know how everything went down. As far as I was concerned the ime's he did for me were top notch and it was simply the VA screwing me. Dr bash only asked me how much I had paid him 8 months prior and what our goal was. I told him the dollar amount that I had paid him and told him how our initial goal was to go from 70% to 100% Dr Bash to me to be strong and that more help was coming. He never asked for any money and only asked that I sent him everything the va Dr had said in my BBE denial letters. To my surprise I sent Dr Bash everything and just a few weeks later Dr Bash sent me a 13 page letter that went toe to toe with everything the VA dr has discredited and showed how the VA Dr had cued himself in instances and also how Dr Bash's opinion had more weight via his extensive experience. I dont know whats gonna happen, but I do know that Dr Bash is a very busy man and had already been paid for his agreed upon services that he delivered. For Dr Bash to write another 13 page letter to combat the VA not only gives me more bullets for this battle, but shows that he truly cares about Veterans being treated fairly and takes great pride in his job. I highly recommend Dr. Bash for anyone contemplating his services.
  2. Very awesome news. A 0% is worth fighting because you can only go up and not down
  3. Thank you everyone. From what I see through all my records.. I have been reopening my claims for my knees in a timely manner since 2009. But most of the bbe's I received said my claims for knees is denied because I did not submit new evidence. However, based on what you guys have said...I do think that if Im awarded for my knees... The effective date could go back to June of 2013. Three years even if only a 10% gain of 300 per month could talk on 10k in back pay. Thank you for the help and I am pursuing this
  4. To me it just really depends on what your compensated for. The bulk of my disibility is due to hearing loss. While it makes it very hard to work and I havent had a job since May 2014... Most of what people say I dont want to hear anyways lol... But some of us have disibilities....that no amount of compensation makes better in any way shape or form.
  5. Well said Andyman Lol. Sorry Buck 60k a week lol I guess pro athletes really make that though 3 million a year.. Wow!!!!!!!!
  6. I mean I had a job making 60k a year lol... 60k a week and Id send everyone here biweekly checks lol
  7. I love math..I mean really love it. Anyone who complains about the 100% rate isnt really thinking it through. Im married with 3 kids. So thats $3350 plus free medical...untaxed... I had a job making 60k a week. Thats not high roller status, but above average by quite a bit. I worked my ass off 43 hours a week to make that 60k a year. So that should be 5,000 per month which trumps the 3350 from the VA monthly right? That should be 2500 every 2 weeks or so... Well the government job paid me 26 times a year instead of 24 times. That automatically knocked the 2500 every 2 weeks down to 2400. You still with me??? So then theres taxes. With a 60k a year job I got taxed aprox 25% 25% of the bi weekly 2400$ =600 So now Im getting 1800 every 2 weeks after taxes Then there was my medical..300 a month So this put my take home pay every 2 weeks at $1650.00 1650 times two payments per month is... 3300 a month take home on average So would I rather bust my ass for the same amount of actual in the bank moneye...Or be satisfied with the compensation? I love math and the awnswers quite simple... Even if I had a 75k a year job and took home 4300 a month Id still prefer the 3350 from the VA and spending more time with my family.
  8. Thank you. My bi lateral shoulders and right wrist claims were put in since 2010, but not sc untill 2014 My back pay was only from 2012 to 2014 So Im gonna see if based on what you have said that they owe me money back to 2010. Thank you
  9. I opened a claim in 2010 for my knees and dpression and was denied in july of 2012 I then reopened the same contentions in june 2013 and was again denied in sep 2014 I then reopened the same contentions in august 2015 and I am awaiting the results My question is.....If I was awarded service connection for my knees and depression....would my effective date go back to 2010 since I always refiled my claim within one year of getting my big brown envelope? Thanks for any help
  10. Its driving me crazy...I mean I literally flew from hawaii to another state and paid nearly 10K for a Dr to write up each IME for me. On top of that I went through 12 weeks of physical therapy in order to properly document my claims and also went through several other drs apptments and xrays ect. i worked my ass off and spent my hard earned coin. Actually the last of my hard earned coin.. And for what....For somthing this damn dumb to happen??? I mean what does this even mean. As far as I know my claim closed on march 9th 2016. So now I proved that they never notified me for 5 C@P exams... I mean I have the same Effective claim date but isnt it basically a comletely new claim in which this time hopefully they will notify me of exams???? It could easily be another 3 to 6 months from my understanding.. Im so freaking ma its not even funny
  11. They have been sending all mail to my current adress for a year and a half. Even the mail telling me they are working on my case. They just never notified me.
  12. I paid Dr bash to do 9 ime's for me. I turned in his ime's plus good documentation from other Drs 6 months ago for 9 contentions. A week ago I got my claim results and was denied on all 9 claims. I never even had c@ps exams!!!! So anyways let Dr Bash know my results and he told me to find out exactly what the VA docs said to debunk his ime's. While using the blue button I came across missed c@p appointments. It turns out I had 6 differant c@p exams scheduled that were a part of my claim but I was never notified about any of them. Im so tired of this crap. How can you send me letters to let me know you are working on my clbut you cant call me or send a letter about pending c@p exams??? They did the same thing in 2014 to me and my friend when neither of us was notified about our exams. Now its happenned again?????? So I went to the VA and they had me write a statement saying I want to be rescheduled for my c@p exams because they failed to notify me and SUPOSSEDLY my closed claim is now reopened with the same effective date.. Im pretty lost but this is seriously bs I would likely have won a few of my contentions and times are pretty hard right now. So frustrated
  13. Wow!!!!! Now thats what I call being Marry!!!!!
  14. Thankyou everyone...me too
  15. My friend is a widow. Her husband died during his military service. God bless his sacrifice three years ago. My friend also served 8 years active duty army. She has a jacked up back and feet and a few other things. I was very surprised when she told me her total rating was 20%. On Dec 2 2015, yes....a few weeks ago... I scanned through all her medical records and submitted a new claim for her seeking increases and a few new contentions. Low and behold she got a call from the VA and now has several c@p examinations scheduled for early January 2016. Im amazed its happenning this fast. Ive been waiting for my c@p examinations for 6 months. We both used the quick claim process. Even though she hasnt received her ratings yet.... This is a success story because the VA has really stepped up and is moving much faster now.
  16. You will be very happy in a few days for sure!!!
