jbasser, Thanks. I guess everyone with a stent should file a claim. What it looks like is the VA is going to have big payouts to a lot of Nam vets. I read somewhere that it could cost 50B for the three new presumptives just added. This may be a low ball $ amount. The fight continues as some of our brothers die every day. Bill

Bertha, I had a 90% blockage and they put a stent in to correct the problem. The doctors call my condition CAD but I found the term "ischemia" mentionrd twice in my medical notes. I hope this would fall under the IHD ruling. Bill

Vync I tapered off the Citalpram because I didn't think it worked for me and I'm not sure I want to use anti depressants for my PTSD. I work out at the gym and the anger issues have gone down. I see the Mental Health person and shoot the shit every two weeks and try to learn to deal with issues now. I started to put on weight with the gabapentin which was for my PN. The Dr. said if my sugar was under control the PN would not be as bad. The sleep meds make me feel hung over if I don't sleep 8 hours.

I stopped taking citalopram, zolpidem, and gabapentin last week and I don't feel any different. Hopefully I can get rid of some more after I lose another 20 lbs. Bill

Not drowsy yet but I was taking some med for high blood pressure when I worked and everyday at 3PM I would start to dose off. The Dr changed the med to one that gave me a dry cough and finally I have one that seems to work, I guess. Bill

I like it so far and I feel mellow like I smoked a little something but I'm not parnoid. Hope it works.

I needed something to take the edge off and I am tired of taking it out on those close to me. I tried going to the gym and working my agression off but it didn't work. The meds lady gave me citalopram to try. Its to early to tell if it works but one side effect is that I can"t spell anymore. Any input is appreciated. Bill

I read somewhere that a congressman from ALASKA didn't want the Nehmer Court Order to pertaim to these three presumptive issues. I think he wanted the date to be the official ruling date of October 09. I can't recall where I saw this because I was on the net for 4 hours and everything is a blur. Bill

I didn't see any percentages and they tied it in with my Periphereal Neuropathy associated with DMII with ED. Bill

A friend of mine was assulted in the Navy by a fellow sailor that held a gun to his head and threatened to kill him. This was documented by the poloce and I think that he could have a good case for PTSD. He is already receives disability for something else and always said he was going to file a claim for this incident. This fellow told me go to the VA over 10 years ago and I waited till last year. Now he tells me I told you so. He should take his own advice. Bill

My psychologist asked me if I ever wanted to go back to Nam? Answer NO. I said I didn't want to go there in the first place. I don't know where they come up with these bullshit questions. I don't see how this helps with anything. Bill

I think you are entitled to 480 hours FMLA, 14 weeks, each year. This may buy you some time. Bill

I have PN and it is rated mild. I live in the north and in the winter my feet and hands feel like ice, can't get them warm. Going to my private Dr. next week to see what she can do for me. Bill

Pete, I was told not to drink because of the drugs I got at the Mental Health unit. You may not wake up. I'm diabetic and have other issues and the booze doesn't mix. Drinking is over rated anyway. Never got arrested when I was sober. Bill

Brother, Tell them anything that comes to mind but don't tell them anything that would considered illegal. As far as drinking, the people I have seem at at the VA seem to get off on drinking. Tell them you are an alcholic and they will love it. Only my opinion. Good luck Bill
