1. ptsd Filed In July, Got My Dav Unofficial Letter Last Week.

   Dav letter showed me 50% ptsd 10 tinnitus..tbi deferred(ace cp exam this friday)..my questions, it went pending notification the day after I got dav letter.the next day the va called me for dependants info. The same day it went back to pending decision approval?..any thoughts? Could it be the deferred issue that went back and my rated issues are still pending notification? Just a bit anxious and stressed...

3. How Does This All Work

   Alright I am currently sitting at 16 years with 4 years left towards retirement. My doctor has been going through my medical history to make sure that I have everything together but he said something about retirement and VA disability. Somehow I would be eligible for both? Basically I have fallen arches, steady hearing loss in my left ear, cronic neck pain due to deteriorating disks (doctor doesn't know what caused it) arthritis, minor other issues left knee, back etc. I know that when I go to retire one of my first stops is the VA but does that mean I am eligible for both? 4. Fdc Filed, But I Am Hearing Conflicting Info

   I retired 1 August. MY FDC was received by VA 8 August. My county VSO told me that here in South Dakota, FDC are being finished within 106 days. SO, I am on vacation, and waiting for a call for a C+P. I called Hot Springs, which is where they said my C+P would be conducted, and they told me they have NOTHING on me. So, I called and talked to h State VSO, and she told me it would be a LONG,LONG time before all is said and done, and that my C+P's could be out as far as January or February !! Lastly, I go on to e-benefits, and my claim is under "gathering evidence". Why would they need to gather evidence, if I sent in a FULLY DEVELOPED claim ???? 10…

7. Appeal Status Is Confusing

   I go into e-benefits and under explanation of appeal status it says "no information". Me and my POA turned in the paperwork to appeal to BVA in 2009 and I call the BVA line and they still do not have it and when I called the RO office this week 6 times I was hung up on after going through the phone automated hoopla and told to call in the evening and schedule a time to be called. I did that and no one called. I am thinking of changing POA's to either American Legion or DAV. Should I wait to investigate until I am in the hospital because I plan to go into inpatient during thanksgiving break to change my meds because they are not working.

8. Va Always Claims They Dont Receive The Evidence!

   I filed my Current FDC claim in Oct 14 and it just went to Prep for Decision on 12/22. At the bottom of the claims status page it states" Below is new and material evidence that we did not receive from you for previously denied lower back pain", WTH!! I uploaded the evidence a month ago via Ebenefits, have the print out for it, and mailed the evidence at the same time to the VA Evidence Intake Center. What irritates the Hell out of me is that I had this issue with my last claim, where the VA stated they did not receive evidence for this same issue, yet again I had the print outs from the site with date and time that evidence was uploaded. I am so tired of this Bull Crap…

11. C-File Request/privacy Act Requet Reopened On Ebenefits

    Here's a new one to me. The VA reopened my old open records/privacy act request for my C-File that had been completed back in July, 2014. I had filed the request back in February, 2013, waited nearly a year and a half for the documents, and ended up doing a Presidential inquiry in late May, 2014, and amazingly the C-File arrived in early July. I'm not sure why the VA would have reopened it this month, unless it has something to do with the 80-something pages of other veterans' medical records that were inside it. However, I had let the VA know that back in July as well via IRIS, but I didn't ask for a "purged" copy. I haven't made any new requests, so it's kind of …

12. E- Benefits Help

    Greetings fellow Veterans, I just filed my claim back in September, I had my C&P on 1 December and my audiogram on 3 December. This last Friday my status on E benefits went from Preparing for notification to showing me rated at 40% this morning, when I go to access my documents/download VA letters. And my status did not go to Complete, it instead went back to Review of Evidence, does that mean there is still hope that I will be rated higher than 40%? I have not received my letter in the mail yet stating what they rated what at. Is there a way on E benefits to see what they rated each claim at? Or do I have to wait for the letter in the mail? After 24 years…

13. ptsd I Am Very Confused Can Someone Please Help Me?

    Hello fellow vets I have an interesting dilemma if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. here is my current ratings before I received my 10 % increase. sleep apnea 50%, irritable bowel syndrome 10% right knee subluxation 10% degenerative joint disease 10% for a total of 80% now in my new claim I applied for PTSD and was awarded 50% service connected and they even increased my IBS to 30% and they denied my unemployabilty mainly because I am still working but... my question is how come they only rated me at 90% but what they did was put my status from pending decision approval back to gathering of evidence phase but yet they decided on giving me a partial incr…
