C&p Notes Are Grossly Misstated
So I went to my C&P exam for my back a couple weeks back. I injured my back in two spots (upper back around my chest and lower back with pain radiating down the leg) in Iraq March 2009 moving a Mk19 off of a gun truck, was seen at the TMC with a vague diagnosis of "backache." I was on a small FOB without MRI or diagnostic machines so I was on profile for a couple weeks then returned to duty. I initially put a claim in for my back in 2009 after returning home from Iraq but missed my exam so I tried to claim it again in 2011 but the va didn't schedule a C&P exam for my back and then denied me saying there was no evidence of my back having any problems; I appealed it…

ptsd Ptsd And Bipolar
I am SC 50% for PTSD and am going to another C&P for a rating increase. I am diagnosed bipolar. Should I bring this up in the C&P or just answer the questions asked? I found the first C&P, two years ago, very stressful. Reliving, emotional and telling someone who seemed entirely clinical. I am sure he is a nice person but the process was less than empathetic. Afterwards I sat on the sidewalk outside the phychologist office just watching people go about their normal life while I felt completely abnormal. I want to be forthcoming with this C&P but I also want to protect myself. I'm just getting this off my chest. If anyone has feedback about disclosing my b…

Can A Physician Assistant Do My C&p Pension Exam?
I just noticed that on my C&P exam which lead to my reduction proposal from 40% for my left elbow to 10%, that the lady is a Physician assistant and not a MD Doctor. Will this help me on my hearing that's scheduled for my disagreement?

Total Knee Replacemnt Scar
Currently I am SC for right knee and lower back.. Rating is currently 40% disabling for lower back, 30% disabling for limited extension, 10 % limited for flexion and right knee scar 20% with a combined rating of 70%. If I have a Total Knee Replacement surgery after 13 months @ 100 % I will then be rated 40% for the back and a minimum of 30% for the TKR. My question is, will I also retain the 20% disability for the remaining 8" scar on the inside of my knee since the TKR scar be totally seperate and will run down the center of my knee cap? Will or could I be rated for the new scar as well? Is only one scar allowed per knee? poboy

General Questions About L-Spine
I am getting ready to pull all of my stuff together for a new file but kind of confused about the va rating system for the lumbar back strain. I am currently rated 10% for a lumbar strain. Since that original rating, i have become worse. More herniated discs sine the original claim, constant pain and numbness down both legs, etc. So looking at the increased rating information, it is all based on ROM. Is this correct? If so, the other stuff thats been going on is not going to matter then? The physician that i see externally from the VA has created a nexus that all of it is intertwined including the pain in my hips and knees that i am going for a secondary connection. W…

C&p Exam - "light Physical Employment" Translation?
Hi All! I've been sitting in the "Preparation for Decision" stage for almost two months now, so I'm doing lots of homework to be ready for any appeals or NODs. One thing I cannot find anywhere is some documentation tying the statement below to where that would fall in the VA Schedule in the e-CFR page. The C&P VA Dr. put this throughout my shoulder, back, knee, wrist, etc., sections: 15. Functional impact --------------------- Regardless of the Veteran's current employment status, do the condition(s) listed in the Diagnosis Section impact his or her ability to perform any type of occupational task (such as standing, walking, lifting, sitting, etc.)? C&p 2 Weeks Ago
My C&P was 2 weeks ago. Claim went back to reviewing evidence, then today to gathering evidence. I have often wondered if there is some sort of communication with the DR. and the RO that is not on the record ! And do you think that the VA reads this forum? Maybe a little paranoid of me huh?

Letter From Qtc
I recently had a C&P exam for allergic rhinitis, which I'm rated at 0% SC. I mentioned to the QTC examiner that I've had issues with sinusitis over the past few years so they called the VA to get approval to perform a sinus x-ray. I haven't heard back from the VA, however, I received a letter from QTC yesterday stating that I should follow up with my primary care physician for a sinus x-ray. The letter also apologizes for not being able to provide any additional details but it's important that I seek treatment. Has anyone ever received a letter like this? Aside from submitting a FOIA request for my C&P folder, which I did a month ago, is there any way to get a…
