Hi Im currently at 60% sc rating (lower back severe ddd, severe migraines, r/knee) as of July 2014 i found out that I have ddd in my upper back an a rupture disc in my neck tapping on my spinal cord which is causing severe pain. How can I link the two together? Im trying to get 100% tui, I do receive ssi which was grantedl from my sc medical documentation an I will be 60 in february. Do anyone think I would have a chance to get tui from my c n p exam? Thanks in advance for any input.

Still Confused After C&p Exam
Lead [-] Hello Everyone, I had my C&P on Friday. I claimed CAD secondary to HTN. I was diagnosed with CAD by my VA Doctor. I had a stress test completed and the results are down below. The C&P doctor states that I don't have CAD. Anybody have any thoughts on this and which direction should I go if denied. Granted it states that probablity of CAD being relatively low - that doesn't indicate not having CAD. Plus my METS where not greater than 5. Information on FAX: stress test reportLVEF: 58%conclusions:probability of obstructive CAD: relatively lowProbability of Ischemia: lowextent of…

C&p Exam Frustration
Sorry, really long post. Not sure if this is the right place, but I am 100% service connected vet that has received his benefits for nearly eleven years. I was medically separated and denied disability by the Marines, I thought that was it. What I didn't know at the time is that the VA could assign their own ratings and 5 months later I received my letter that informed me of my compensation from a pre-discharge exam. Years I struggled inside my home fighting a new enemy: my mind. Eventually I learned how stress increases my symptoms and that I need to be in environments I either directly controlled or can deal with on my own terms. It took a decade to learn that, in t…

ptsd Sc 90% 4 Yrs - New Fdc Claim C & P 04/2014
I had been 90% SC for PTSD, CAD, SA and Tinnitus for about 4 yrs, with 2 DRO Hearings pending, when I was DX with what I believed to be a SC Secondary issue 01/2014. Contrary to some learned opinion, I believe in filing a claim as soon as you get the DX. There's been plenty of recent discussion about opening yourself up for reviews of your other SC conditions but I've been somewhat skeptical regarding that line of thought. As it turns out, my C & P Dr only addressed the condition specific DBQ that was requested by the VA Rating Dept. We started talking and he agreed with me that I was wrong regarding which current SC condition contributed to my new DX. I told…

Seeking Increase
My concern is very detailed. I am 50 percent service connected, 20 thoracic fractures, 10 percent left knee strain, shoulder impingement, post ankle fracture and tenititus. After speaking to my VSO I was encouraged to seek an increase for my shoulder L knee and ankle. However they also informed me I should seek a secondary for my right knee. My question is am I filtering with disaster, having the VA look into my medical file. At the C and P Exam can they find evidence to reduce my disability, I just know that it isn't a fair adjudication. Also at the exam am I to continue through out the pain or am I to alert the examiner when the onset of the pain starts? Thanks guys an…

C&p Exam E-Mailed To Ro By Examiner?
Received my decision letter "Your current benefit payment will continue unchanged." Okay, so how did you make that decision? "Evidence Considered" In making our decision, we considered: Email correspondence from Dr. Quack dated May 21, 2015 My C&P exam, done by Dr. Quack, was on May 20, 2015. Usually one can go to https://www.myhealth.va.gov/index.htmland read what the C&P examiner noted. There was no mention of my C&P exam. Next, checked with the FOIA office at the VAMC and they said there was nothing about my C&P exam. So, how would I go about getting the information the Dr. sent to the RO? Or, are they trying to keep it confiden…

ptsd Wish Me Luck
Tomorrow, Wed, is my PTSD/MDD exam. I have to drive thru Seattle and Tacoma to get there to American Lake during rush hours. Only one way to get there, so I will be well primed when I get there. I have been fighting for this since 1984, but with the DSM V changes, I don't think that they can turn me down again. Hate getting called a liar by some faceless person at the RO. Then I have to drive down there Fri, again, for Orth C&P. Don't know why there were no appts available in Seattle. Have to be there at 0800....
