C&p Vs Smr History?
Folks, Another quick question, how does a Veteran's SMR history compare with the C&P Exam from the Rater's view? It seems like they'd only care about what the C&P says, rather than the history. In my case, I was on heavy steroids (Advair powder inhaler) for asthma for years, however, hadn't been or had any major episodes since PCS'ing to my current duty station 3 years ago. So I'm wondering if that will matter at all. Thanks!

C&p Then Letter From C&p Nurse Practitioner Whro Did It?
This is what I got rated for after my C&P for increase on lumbar strain... A few days later I get these 2 letters from the nurse practitioner who did the c&p? Should I add DDD as a secondary? Should I add Radicular bilateral as secondary? Should I just leave the 20% rating alone and settle? I am very confused on this one.....

C&p' Scheduled - Round 2 Here We Go
Ok, here we go again. Got a call a few days back from a DRO at the Houston VARO. They are doing a de novo review of my case, and scheduled me for a series of C&P examinations, which will be my second round from the VA. Sure enough, got a call from Veterans Evaluation Service, who advised that the VA had contracted them to do my C&P examinations and to do bloodwork. Looks I'll be heading to Houston for the examinations and Beaumont for a blood draw and CBC. (They used VES on me last time too.) Keep in mind, I've been through a prior round of C&P examinations, but this is the first time with a CBC blood draw, and I have on file an independent medical exa…

C & P Has Me Seeing Red.
I had a C&P that was just awful. The examiner was just condescending and hateful to my wife and myself. Any time we tried to make a point she would tell us we were wrong. At one point we cited information from my Dr. that was included on a DBQ;. She said that was just his opinion and it was not right. She was up on the science and forensics and my Dr. did not have the time to deal with that. The C&P was in the morning. She later called me at home around 5: pm and said that she was trying to do me a favor in that she had looked at my DMII glucose numbers and there were not two consecutive test when the glucose was greater than 126. Keep in mind that I’m already…

ptsd From Preparation For Notification Back To Gathering Of Evidence?
Good Morning, Today I checked my Ebenefits page and see that my claim has moved back to gathering evidence. I was expecting have it move forward to Notification. My Rate did increase from 50% PTSD to 70%PTSD though. Any thoughts on this??? Also, I had filed a new claim for IBS and it is now listed as Not Service Connected Related to Environmental Hazard in Gulf War... There is also a new claim listed for Alcohol Abuse and it says Deferred. Is this the reason that it is now back in the Gathering Evidence phase??? Im completely lost so any help or information would be appreciated. Thank you all for your help!!!

C&p Exam For Foot
Just got my notice for upcoming exam on Friday the 17th, for my left foot condition to include plantaar fasciitis. When I first filed the claim, back in the beginning of May, I mailed off copies of all SMR and VAMR treatment records. During my VA treatment, some years ago, I received an injection in my foot, to ease the pain from plantaar fasciitis caused bone spurs. Soon there after, I developed burning sensation alternating with pins and needles. This is one of the known side effects of said injections. This is mentioned in my VAMR. What do I say about that? This is something the VA caused, while treating me, for an injury that while occured on AD, hasn't been S…
