Dr. for an IMO
I live just about an equal distance from Springfield MO & Little Rock AR. Is there a Dr in this area that helps people with their VA claims? Because it's hard to find one that will help out with a VA claim.

Current Appeal date
Does anyone have any clue what the current date of AMA appeals the board is working? I know I can find the current legacy date in the appeals metrics, but they don't say anything about AMA.

HLR Letdown! Advice Needed
Hello fellow Vets Sorry in advance for the long read. But I am at my wits end. Any advice on some next steps BESIDES filing an appeal? One thought I am flirting with is getting a doctor to write a letter saying my symptoms existed since "blank" date directly refuting the decision the rating official made February 2021. This would be considered new evidence and I could just do a supplemental? Anyway here is my story: I don’t think it’s fair that I would have to get in the back of the line, again, when the error rested with the VA and how they adjudicated this claim… On August 11, 2021, I filed a HLR for a decision on my claim for GERD made February 26, …

New guidance for AMA claims from US Court of Appeals 30JULY2021
Excerpts from an email I got yesterday after I had logged off, but read this AM. I don't pretend to understand point C.- I don't work on court appeals stuff. We are apparently having meetings next week about all of this. A. Intent to File (ITF) Framework Applies to all Supplemental Claims The Court invalidated a portion of the introductory language to 38 C.F.R. § 3.155, which excluded supplemental claims from the ITF process. VA must now accept an ITF for a supplemental claim. Claim processors must consider whether an ITF of record is applicable to a subsequently received supplemental claim under § 3.155. This includes all supplemental claims,…

Appeal Status
For those who are waiting on appeals, just check this morning, been feeling a little out of it lately and not had a chance to check it but according to VA.gov, the board is now working on January 2018 appeals. That does not mean something will come up to put someone else in front of your claim, but they are moving.

Denied
Good morning, new member here recommended by a fellow shipmate. We were all in the same squad at the same time as our admin @Tbird was. So you know it’s been a while since we were at 34 together. I was an AMS and worked in airframes. I just found out my disability comp was denied. Zero percent service related disabilities. I’m fn numb. My claim included lumbar disc disease, but someone in their infinite wisdom at the VA put cervical spine, not lumbar. I don’t have any concerning issue with my neck. The reams of documentation I submitted all said LUMBAR. It got bad enough to require surgery because of non-existent discs, so a fusion was done S1-L5. My s…

Back pay when at 100 p&t
Good day all. I don't have dates it's been a long while. I'm in an bva appeal in which while I'm at 100% now I was awarded from appeal tdiu also. I have received payment. Now real question is since I'm at 100% will I receive any more back pay since my appeal is not complete, because they merged my claim and that part is under a remand. For the remand part recently VA sent me to lhi for c&p exam per bva judge, so since I'm already 100%, if bva approves do I just get rated for the last 4 medical conditions or back pay also?
