Miller Statement on VA response to HVAC Subpoena May 20, 2014 WASHINGTON, D.C.— Chairman Jeff Miller released the following statement today regarding VA’s response to a subpoena from the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. “VA’s response to the committee’s subpoena is clearly inadequate and makes me suspicious that the department has something to hide. The subpoena sought e-mails and documents to or from more than two dozen VA officials, including Sec. Shinseki, regarding VA’s admitted destruction of a document department officials have speculated may be the “secret” list cited by Phoenix VA Health Care System whistleblowers. All VA delivered yesterday was about 200 emails from one official, Dr. Thomas Lynch, and nothing else. Considering the fact that there are supposedly 30 people working on responding to the subpoena and the dearth of information VA provided, I am quickly getting the impression the department does not want to fully cooperate in this matter. The committee voted unanimously to issue the subpoena in the first place, and I’d like to move forward in a bipartisan way, so I’m in the process of working with HVAC Ranking Member Mike Michaud to determine the next steps for the committee. I’m fully prepared to press this issue until we get the truth that America’s veterans deserve – whether VA likes it or not.” – Rep. Jeff Miller, Chairman, House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs

jrt When you appeal to the board (the BVA) you have to 1. File a NOD. 2. Get a Statement of Case (SOC). 3. Then appeal to the BVA. Others more wise than me may further educate you on this item but, reading similar cases on this site will more rapidly fill you in. Good luck and don't quit.

Ambushing By Doctor At C&p Exam!
Slowlane replied to retiredat44's question in Veterans Compensation & Pension Exams
Dayaham!!!!!!!!!!! They did a C&P on me without me being there!!!! I found it scheduled on Ebennies one day after it was done.....I called and asked why I was not notified to be there and they said it was for opinion only........The opinion given was secretly fed to the C&P Doctor and her write-up was used to severe my service connection. Hell no I cant prove it....but I know it happened. -
A really good palm reader.... E-bennies is it........Have you gotten your SOC and form 9 to move to the BVA?

What Tricks Has Va Used To Deny You?
Slowlane replied to NavyWife's question in VA Disability Claims Research
This thread lasted 4 days. -
When you make a claim they open your entire file and most of the time will re-examine your entire situation. It's a great opportunity for them to screw you out of what you worked so hard to get. Be careful and dont give them anything they can use against you.

St Pete never acknowledges receipt. -
Dro Review Or Go Straight To The Bva?
Slowlane replied to Theblaze's question in VA Disability Claims Research
Excuse me while I puke. Sounds like ticket sales to the hamster wheel. You cant get out of the RO cause they make you wait 4 birthdays to see a DRO who denies you then waits another 2 or 3 years to write the SOC so you can wait 4 or 5 years to get to BVA. By then the nursing home wont let you drive anywhere. -
Ceo Phoenix Placed On Leave
Slowlane replied to jcolwell's question in VA Disability Claims Research
They need to start investigating the C&P departments. -
Did you see the head dawg of the Phoenix MC drive off in her 100k Mercedes sports car? If you got it flaunt it. I would have borrowed a POS ford for the next few months until everyone completely forgets about this and it blows completely over like it never happened.

Fantastic! That was fast! Congratulations.

And when we submit a strong Independent Medical Opinion it gets ignored long enough to run the hamster wheel for another 6 years. -
What Tricks Has Va Used To Deny You?
Slowlane replied to NavyWife's question in VA Disability Claims Research
If we were to start a new thread with the heading like this: SUBJ: My district representative (Hon Name goes here) from (District) and (Regional Office). And text like this: Has allowed his VA Regional Office to run unchecked since elected. He has made comments about how things "should be" but never any action that would actually help the Veterans. His Regional Office has no respect for him and runs their show the way they want to. Make sure you vote against this person. Need some help here but, trying to keep it short. -
What Tricks Has Va Used To Deny You?
Slowlane replied to NavyWife's question in VA Disability Claims Research
BS walks and money talks......You must pay to get your message across to the public. The Wounded Warrior Project would be better off to tell lies like "How we fought VA to help Veterans" instead of buying them a 2 dollar crutch and pocketing the rest. They are bagging 20 bucks a month to display people hobbling around and crying and never making mention of the VA Atrocities. If we had commercials running nite and day something would happen. We might collect enough money to buy a representative. I feel this thread will die a slow death..........I forget who said something like "getting Veterans organized is like herding cats". -
Congrats Navy04 and Way to go WACO.

What Tricks Has Va Used To Deny You?
Slowlane replied to NavyWife's question in VA Disability Claims Research
I said it before and I will say it again, an AD campaign needs to be established, not to raise money like Wounded Warrior Project but to get the majority of citizens to demand change. -
What Tricks Has Va Used To Deny You?
Slowlane replied to NavyWife's question in VA Disability Claims Research
Sierra, I'm not sure that a class action lawsuit would work on such a broad base but, at least this thread is bringing forward the frustrations suffered by most Vets. What we need to do is keep a thread going that suggests what to do until we come up with a plan that will work. For Example: 1. Strongly campaign against anyone holding office now and before all the VA abuse. It happened on their watch. 2. Name names of your representatives and Regional Offices that are not helping. 3. I need help here.....I'm getting so pissed I can't think anymore. 4. _____________ fill in the blanks please. Please keep this thread going -
What Tricks Has Va Used To Deny You?
Slowlane replied to NavyWife's question in VA Disability Claims Research
The RO had a young lady call me on my cell phone and practically offer me IU. But, they needed physicians release papers and some forms filled out. They expedited me the forms and I turned them around in 3 days. Within 30 days they started severance of service connection proceedings and ignored everything I sent them including a 1000 mile round trip face to face with the DRO. They had me severed in less than 6 months. They can move very fast and be very cruel when they smell blood in the water. By the mere presence of this forum there is enough proof that the VA is not on your side which means lying and cheating is fair game.
