Sounds like you are being punished to the highest degree because you dont know each and every VA rule that has ever been published and used against you.

I just put this up for you guys to watch. Dont go tearing off your limbs and beating each other on the head about Fox news. I dont like fox news or CNN news or any of them. I dont like democrats or republicans either but the newscast at least gives the American public a look at how the VA cheats treats its Veterans.

You might want to do more research on your issues so you will feel comfortable when you do make a new claim or ask for an increase. Plenty of info on this site with some really good people. Slowlane

John, I went up there and underlined "My initial rating" done by NP......what did you get out of that? Cause you said you got 60 on appeal. SL

They wont allow your ENT opinions because it will cost them money. They are there to keep you from getting any money. They will lie, cheat and make up what they need to keep you on the hamster wheel. Just keep appealing and get a lawyer. This is gonna be a long one. Never ever quit.

I found this quote on EBenifits. "Claims for VA compensation, pension and vocational rehabilitation and employment benefits (VA Form 21-526, 21-686c, 21-4138, and 28-1900): A signature is not required in most cases when completing these forms. Prior to final submission of your application in VONAPP, you will be prompted to certify that all information you have entered on your form is accurate. Your certification serves as your signature." That covers the signature part. I have to file an appeal soon.........Think I'll take a shot at it because I have time enough to come back and verify what happened.

LC, I haven't done it. I just don't get that warm fuzzy feeling like when you get the RRR receipt from the post office. Please come back and post what and how it went and if you got any kind of confirmation that it really worked.

John, I think you have to be within a 30 day window to request a DRO hearing. I had a bad C&P where I was misled into saying a bunch of things that made me look kind of normal. I now have a collection of evidence that is indicative of at least a 50% rating. If I send in this latest evidence for reconsideration how long do you think it would take to be ruled on?

Philip, I don't have a pay chart handy but (I think) 50% is about $400 a month more than 30%. So, a loss of $400 X 12 = $4800 over a period of a year. But to get upgraded to 50% in a much faster time (possibly 2 years faster) would make more sense to my 66 year old burnt out brain. Heck, in 10 years I might not even know who you are anymore. My (one year) denial for PTSD increase in excess of the current 30% will be up in about 3 months. Rather than wait 3+ years for an appeal, would it be best to wait the one year limit out and put in a brand new claim? I realize that I would lose the difference in appeal money for a one year period which would be approx 4.5K but, claims are all they are working on right now and a new claim could be a couple of years faster than an appeal.

"Why don't these organizations invest some of that money and effort to expose government in-action" Cant wait til I get approached again by some (Help the poor vet) group wanting money. I will reply by putting a preprinted letter in their prepaid envelope advising them to use their money to make the VA do their job.

I got the same problem. Had a DRO denial out of St Pete Nov 2013. Never received copy of transcript and there was no SOC. How can you appeal without an SOC? Now I understand......you have to file an appeal to the RO. Then they are supposed to produce a SOC and a transcript. At that point you can file an appeal to the BVA. Right?
