  1. Buck, sorry to hear of your issues bud, but as most on here know my story, I was put thru a Hell of a Ride, when I filed my last FDC in Nov 2014 while I was 100% VA already. My claim sat at Prep for Decision for over 2 months, then the VA came after me with everything they had. Reviewed all of my High %s including PTSD which were not up for Review until Feb 2016. Those Reviews were brutal especially the PTSD. Now in my case, it back fired in the VA's face, but it still was a tough process none the less. Good luck and keep us posted bud, only you can decide what is best for your family.

  2. Kill, you do whatever is good for you and your family. Sierra, you are right on the money bud, I was already 100% VA when I submitted my last FDC in Nov 14. Claim was in Prep for Decision for over 2 months, then in Feb 15, VA decides to move claim back to Gathering of Evidence, order a ton of C&Ps, then Review all of my High %s, even though I was not up for Review until Feb 2016. A year earlier, and those Review exams are brutal especially the PTSD review.

  3. Sorry to say bud, but NODs and Appeals can take years. That is why I personally do not like to go this route. I was denied a lot of issues 2 years ago, and since then Filed and Reopened 4 FDCs and all but a few were granted. I did not want to wait years and years for a few bucks. There are a lot of Starving and Homeless Vets who need the dollars now. Good luck bud, and hopefully we will be reading a success story from you in a few years.

  4. It is hard to get higher then 10% for Gerd, that is what I got when they combined it with my Crohns, and that is with Scarring of the Esophagus and tested for Throat Cancer Twice, due to severity of damage to throat and mouth, and now my teeth will have to come out, and I am only 33. Remember that you can always put in for an increase, or NOD if you feel you should have been granted Higher. Good luck

  5. Welcome aboard bud, but the only 2 statements that we need to see off of the C&P exams are 1) Occupational and Social Impact and 2) Condition is most likely or least likely related to Military Without those statements or you posting your exams results on here, we will just be guessing. Post the exam reports on here, but make sure to remove your personal info. Good luck and God Bless

  6. I agree with Phillip, and I am actually in the same boat bud. I am 33, and all of my teeth look good, but in fact all of the Enamel is been eating off due to my Crohns and Acid Reflux over the years. I am currently referred to a VA Dental Surgeon, just playing the waiting game as usual. My VA dentist asked me a few months ago if I was going to file a claim for SC, and I have not even thought about it, being that I am 100% VA. You should definitely get an IMO and seek SC. Good luck and keep us posted
