I had C&P exam few days ago. When I checked VA Notes this morning on myhealthevet follwing was posted. Any idea on what the rating will look like? Your inputs are higly appreciated.
Mental Disorder Diagnosis #1: Persistent Depressive Disorder (Dysthymia), with anxious distress, moderate, with late onset, with pure dysthymic syndrome
Occupational and social impairment

a. Which of the following best summarizes the Veteran's level of occupational and social impairment with regards to all mental diagnoses? (Check only one)
[X] Occupational and social impairment with deficiencies in most areas, such as work, school, family relations, judgment, thinking and/or mood
Symptoms
-----------
For VA rating purposes, check all symptoms that apply to the Veteran's diagnoses:
[X] Depressed mood
[X] Anxiety
[X] Panic attacks that occur weekly or less often
[X] Chronic sleep impairment
[X] Mild memory loss, such as forgetting names, directions or recent events
[X] Flattened affect
[X] Disturbances of motivation and mood
[X] Difficulty in establishing and maintaining effective work and social relationships
[X] Difficulty in adapting to stressful circumstances, including work or a worklike setting
Behavioral observations:
Veteran arrived on time for the evaluation. He was casually dressed, well groomed. He was fully alert and oriented times three. Veteran maintained good eye contact. He was cooperative during the exam. Expressive speech was fluent. Thought process was logical, coherent, and goal directed, with no evidence of a formal thought disorder. Content of thought was appropriate to context with no evidence of perceptual disturbance or delusional thinking. Insight and judgment were intact. Mood was depressed, with a flat affect which was congruent to mood. Veteran denied suicidal or homicidal ideation, intent, or plan.

Low self esteem, feelings of hopelessness at times, thoughts of death
