I Called Bob

Question

Hey, Vets. This works great. I called Bob on Wednesday. Thursday morning the BVA gomer calls to find out whazzup. Then today the DRO calls up to say they are doing my DRO (which I didn't ask for) on my NOD of my CUE denial for a rating reduction. VA Seattle is 545 days out on DRO reviews. I submitted the NOD on 4/30/2014. The DRO asked me what I wanted. 100% from 1994 and SMC S.

onward thru the fog. Vote for Bob.

Of course, Ronald McDonald has "real pull". He has enough pull to anger your rating specialist. A rating specialist who is mad at you is not a good position to be in, either.

The thing is, going to someone's boss is likely to anger that employee. Especially going to Ronald himself. You do what you want, but I can't see how making that guy mad is going to help your claim.

Oh, sure, they have things in place about fairness, equality, etc, etc, but how do you act when someone cuts you off, or raises his middle finger to you? By contacting "the Donald" you are giving the middle finger to that employee who decides your case. Not a very good idea, to test their paitience, imho, and should only be used in dire circumstances.

broncovet, I did not get anyone mad they were very happy to help, squeaky wheel gets the grease. I guess when you want something done right go right to the top. And by the way he did not anger the specialist just put a fire under him. The person who will decide my case will be a VLJ. Thanks for you thoughts well taken.

Good job mojo13! I agree 100% squeaky wheel gets the grease. A this point, you gotta do whatever it takes.

I truly believe Bob wants to help veterans.

If any VA employee feels they should retaliate against you, that would be a reason for another email to Bob.

Don't give up!

Just an update on my situation that might give a bit of encouragement to those veterans out there waiting. Emailed Mr. McDonald regarding a dependency situation and three days later it was resolved.

I believe he really does want to help vets.
