Need assistance, I just filed my first claim after being out of the military.I filed a claim for Diabetes 2 and submitted documentation with my claim to the VA,that I had several high sugar readings while on active duty.During my C&P exam I wasnt asked one question about my Diabetes claim or examined.I was told if Ididnt file within 1 year of getting out of the service, the claim would be denied.I feel I should file a NOD disagreeing on this claim based on not having a proer C&P exam and them not looking at my sugar readings while on active duty.I requested my C-File from the VA.Any help frpm anyone out there will be helpful.Thank you.

Question About Deined Claim
Hello, I would like to ask about a claim that i have filed and was just denied. I filed a claim for increase on an already rated claim, the claim was first for my back, which i was rated at 40%, it has been ten years since i was first awarded the 40% and i wanted to put in for an increase due to mental depression from the back injury. I filed the increase for my back and wrote detailed accounts of depression issues. After 17 months i received the notice that the increase was denied, yet there is no mention of any depression. I feel that i may have filed the claim wrong, in that i filed for increase of my back, when i should have filed for depression, could anyone let m…

Will My Compensation Be Counted Towards Child Support?
I am 100% S/C veteran and am 13 weeks pregnant by my husband who is active duty Marine, and after bootcamp MCT and MOS school he decided that he no longer wants the married life or the child he wanted, (yes it is his child and he acknowledge that it is his) He decided that he wanted the single life again and that we need to divorce because we fight too much because hes been so verbally abusive towards me about his fears of me getting fat because im pregnant, He told me to get an abortion and he wants nothing to do with the child and willing to sign over all legal rights and that if I tried to come after him for child support that he would take the child away from me and I…

Earlier Effective Date
Hi all, My husband spoke with his DAV representative on yesterday concerning an Earlier Effective Date for his injury that occurred in July 2008 when he had a fall which resulted in a spinal cord injury. He was operated on August 16, 2008 and stayed in hospital for 40 days. In October 2008 he had occupational and physical therapy up until April 30 2009. He filed for IU and spinal cord injury in May of 2009. BVA granted him IU and for his spinal cord injury for claimed filed in May 2009 instead of July 2008. He could not file any earlier because he had to wait until all his occupational and physical therapy was over with so he would know what to file for. Yesterd…

ptsd "action Completed"?
After study on hadit I have done almost all my claim work myself, but after my PTSD group I was put in contact with a knowledgeable American Legion service officer who was able to pull up my file. (it has sat at rating board flagged for hardship for 2 months now...) He said that he could see a note attached dated that day (tues) that said only "Action completed" but that he did not know what action. Would anyone have any knowledge of what this might mean?
