hypertension Bull Sh%$#@#
So I had a pension exam which was clearly corrupt. I want to know if there's anything other than appealing the decision I can do. I want go into much detail but will give you an example of what I found to be down right criminal. Applied for secondary hypertension for coronary artery disease. Examiner opined that my hypertension was diagnosed before my coronary artery disease. Apparently my pending surgery for coronary artery disease somehow was scheduled before there was a diagnose of disease. " Veteran HTN was diagnosed on 9/04/02 and his coronary artery disease was diagnosed a few weeks later. That does not fit into what actually happened given the fact that on 9/13/0…

How Long Does A Gulf War Illness C&p Exam Take?
I have an exam scheduled. The guy said it is a 4 hour exam. What will happen in the exam, and will it really be 4 hours, or is that just a "guesstimate"?

Anybody know it means? Thanks

Going To A C&p Exam, What Are The Does And Dont's
Good Morning to Everyone, I am due to go to my C&P this week and I am curious as what to expect when I go through this exam. Yes, this is my first time of a C&P. I also want to know what are the should do and should not do at this exam. I want to know what I am in for and what can I expect from the results. I must admit that I was surprise to get a C&P. I was denied my request for increased benefits a year ago, so I put an appeal in for my injuries. I guess this is in response to that appeal and I pray that they finally discover the issues I am having. Thanks for your attention, John

Cp Exam For Cervical Spondylosis
First time user. I recently received 20 percent DDD and 20 percent for left leg radiculopathy (50 percent overall). Today, I received another letter to come in for another exam. On my initial award letter, "cervical spondylosis" is deferred pending this exam. I never claimed anything for my neck. What should I expect at the exam and why did they pick up on this when I never mentioned my neck. I'm not complaining, just curious. Anyone have this happen?

Notification Of C&p Exam (Overseas Okinawa)
Finally received my Notification letter stating that the VA had contracted a DR in Okinawa to do my C&P exam. Took 9 months to get to this point. My letter took two weeks to arrive in the mail. Not sure what to expect on how long before the DR will contact me to set the date and time. Does anyone have any experience with a C&P exam overseas working with contracted Dr's? Dr is not affiliated with the Naval Hospital here, so not sure if that is good or bad. I do know he is an optometrist, so not sure how knowledgeable he will be on Sleep Apnea, Back Surgery's,Radiculopathy, etc...

Anyone Had A Phone C&p?
My husband received a 50% award for a mental health claim about a month ago. We disagreed and felt according to the symptoms, it should be 70%. The original C&P was botched badly and the examiner seemed to be biased. My husband knew it was very important to make the examiner aware of the problems he was having so he tried very hard to tell him everything. But, because of this and also, according to the examiner, the fact that we had been successfully married for over forty years and he was employed for much of that time, he was likely "over reporting" and his condition could not be that bad. This examiner also failed to fully fill out the C&P, neglecting to …

Looking For Doctor In Seattle Area To Do An Independent Exam (Ime)
Folks: Does anyone know of or had experience with an Orthopedic Doctor in the Seattle, Wa Area who can Perform an IME on me. I have well docuemented back issues that are clearly covered in my military medical files. I also have brand new MRI and CT's which clearly shows my condition. The C & P was done by a VA Nurse and it was not done propoerly from what I later found out. For range of motion, she took my way past the point of pain which had never been done in any exam before? In the past, I would bend over until the pain started..but with this exam not so.
