Collateral Sources Reviewed?
Hello all! Do collateral sources help a C & P exam for PTSD, or let alone any exam and would it help increase a rating? I submitted documents the va provided me for family and friends to fill out and attached them to my claim to which the examiner noted yes on my exam. I had just noticed on other veterans postings of their exam results that most were checked off as no. I.E (b. Was pertinent information from collateral sources reviewed? [ ]Yes [x]No If yes, describe: _______________________) Thanks for the input! God Bless.

ptsd C&p Exam Today
So on Monday I got an appointment reminder call reminding me that I had four separate C&P appointments today. Four? Huh? I didn't know anything about them. Fast forward to this morning. My first three where all with the same Doc and were pertaining to my lower back and neck issues. Total time about with him about 90 minutes or so. Next appointment was with a psychologist regarding PTSD. Two hours later she says I definitely have PTSD and severe depression related to my service. Lets me know that the report will probably be written up over the next day or so. Here's hopes and prayers that it doesn't get lost on someones desk for a couple six months.

tdiu C&p Inaccurate Report
Both C&P exams for my TDIU claim had inaccurate info. One said I do not drive due to my SC conditions. I am licensed but do not drive long distances or when I am sleepy. The other describes an incident of MST inaccurately. However, the MST does not factor in either condition. Should future treatment reveal otherwise, I don't want that to be a problem. Is it wise to submit statements correcting these before a claim is decided? Seems to me that leaving the driving one uncontested could lead to fraud charges if it impacts the TDIU outcome.

ptsd I Was Able To Get My Qtc Results!
Because of this site I have been able to educate myself in the crazy dynamic that is the VA Medical System. With that being said I had a QTC appointment on February 19, 2015, I called the 1800 for a status update on the 26of February and they told me my QTC was received (for PTSD) on the 24th by the RO. Today I went to see my VSO and told him I needed a copy of the results from the QTC. It was like magic was happening before my eyes. He printed it out from the Virtual VA and told me if I needed anything else just let him know. I thought I was going to bust out into tears when I read TOTAL occupational and social impairment! I have to thank everyone on HADIT The things th…

Planter Fasciitis
Hello all well its time for my next exam. I am going in for a QTC exam tomorrow for planter fasciitis and heel spurs. I have been out for 20 years and I don’t know what they are going to do. I have ratings for back knee and ankle problems that are all service connected. With my feet I have had problems with them for years. I just thought that it was normal. When I would go hunting by the time I got home I could hardly stand up from the pain on the bottom of my feet. When I get up in the morning the bottom of my feet just scream but after 6 or seven steps it always seems to go away. The same thing happens if I am sitting for a longer period of time. X-rays do show large h…

Is It Possible To Get A Letter Of Decision On Only Part Of Your Claim?
My status went to "Notification of Decision" and said I had a letter of notification sent but then the VA called and scheduled a C&P for my sleep apnea and my status changed back to "Gathering of Evidence". Not sure if letter will be sent for result of other items on claim or if VA will hold that letter until my last C&P is done. Anyone have any idea about that?

Anyone Have Their Claim Status Go To "preparation For Notification" But....
still have a C&P exam scheduled? Since February 19 (date of last C&P exam), my status has moved from Gathering of Evidence to Preparation of Notification (this morning) but the VA called yesterday to schedule a C&P exam for March 16 for my sleep apnea claim. How can they wrap this up while I have an exam scheduled? I know they can split up the claim when you have multiple items on it but how can they reach a decision without all the exams complete and information gathered?

Rule Of Re-Exam
I now this has been answered before probably a thousand times before but my search-fu is off today so I will just ask, how can you tell if you are to be re-examined by the VA or not. I have read my initial award letter a couple times and can find no were it confirms or denies I will be re-exam. I ask this because I am getting a C&P exam later this month for some previously denied contentions( ) and I am wondering if I will get re-examed for the things I am SC for and the new contentions or just the new contentions. I am sc for sleep apnea 50% IBS,GEERD, Hiatal hernia to include chest pain, and spastic colon 30% Tinnitus 10% and 4 0% for a grand total of 70% I…

Hurry Up C&p 27 Feb What Is A Veterans Service Officer? Don't I Get One?
I sent in a Notice of Disagreement Dec 2013. Since I hadn't heard anything I sent another letter 21 Jan 2015. I received a phone call about one week later setting me up for a Comp and Pen exam on the 27th of Feb. I was alright with that until I started reading about Fully Developed Claim and a Veterans Service Officer. This hasn't been mentioned and I am wondering really what does it mean and would it be useful to me? My concerns stem from the last examination as the denial was based upon a completely erroneous claim that I had worked as a New Researcher for the past 20 years and that was the cause of my problems. I had worked as a News Researcher full time from …

Does C-File Include Service Treatment Records?
Does anyone know if your C-file is supposed to include your entire service treatment record? I have requested a copy of mine and my c-file does not. At a recent C&P exam the doctor noted only reviewing my C-file, and my claim was denied. I am quite sure this was because he did not see my service treatment records.
