PTS C&P Exam Monday
Hello everyone, I've been dealing with uncomfortable emotions since I returned home from my final deployment about a year ago. I've noticed an incredible sense of disconnect, anxiety and depression. I spent almost 7 years in the Infantry with 31 months over seas, 24 being in Afghanistan with only about 8- 10 guys living out of isolated strong points. We called it strong point warfare and it was extremely kinetic. I loved all the fire fights, camaraderie, air support, being a grunt. We had many replacements due to WIA and KIA... it was rough. Now, I live a very uncomfortable life and I'm incapable of relating or communicating with anyone. I just want to be alone, all the t…

Now, the RO wants a new C+P exam/ the judge has yet to offer his opinion and all the ro in my opinion is wanting to rebuke the imo before anything comes down the pipe. my q…

Id really appreciate your thoughts. Thank you. SECTION I: ---------- 1. ptsd New C&P for TDIU Scheduled and need help
I am currently rated 70% combined .......50% PTSD, and 30% Kindneys, since 2009. I have been in appeal for quite a while....I first applied for TDIU in 2010....they denied it, and I just now got the call to do a C&P for 100% TDIU. I have not worked since 2009, SSDI has me disabled under PTSD since 2009. I dont go out of the house unless wife drives me....if I do and or am forced I spend majority of the time in bathroom/bathrooms. I have nightmares and panic attacks, etc My question is what do I need to do and or say in C&P exam so I don't mess it up.....my nerves and stress are already through the wall and my appointment is two weeks away?

KNEE RANGE EXAM POSITIONS
Title 38 has only one standard exam position for measuring knee extension/flexion, that is the sitting position. See TITLE 38 § 4.71 Plate II (the official version at GPO Website or the hard copy, not VA Website.) I see QTC measuring standing, sitting, laying down, or whatever they want. Each position can give different results (5 degrees, 10 degrees or whatever.) What is often done is the QTC 'examiner' picks the least favorable measurement for the Vet and submits that to VA. Most Vets do not even know they are being screwed. The BDQ does not even say what position to use, so even your own doctor can be using a less favorable (unauthorized) position. The VA Rater has no…

How to avoid being saddled with a Fiduciary agent.
I'd like to 'pick everyone's brain' on what I can do to cover my arse due to my last C & P examiners 'no' remark concerning 'the veteran not being able to manage his/hers financial affairs,' in the C & P's competency section…! I've seen my VA shrink since then and followed 'Pete992's' advice and asked him to make a note in my Progress report, he denied and suggested that I see the VA's Mental Health Social Worker instead and get an evaluation from him. Can I get some input on whether this would be a good move to keep my retro $ in my pocket and one step towards avoiding the VARO's recent trend to saddle us veterans with some phone call ignoring Fiduciary…?
