BVA remand
I filed for a higher level of AA in 2008 along with a Special Home Adaption Grant. In January 2015 the BVA granted me the SHA Grant and remanded the higher level of AA back to the RO. A request for a new C&P was granted and in September 17, 2015 I was seen by the VA Hosp in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The examiner was a Nurse and still in the Military, he was really kind and nice and since I was taken to the VA via a wheelchair van and had no one to push me he did so with out any problem. I couldn't do anything, like stand, walk and needed physical help to get on the gurney. I am unable to stand or walk or use my arms or hands to any degree as my disabilities are spi…

What in the world is going on
Hello all fellow vets: So my wife has been at the 70% rate for about 18 months now and she put in for IU on a temporary basis just so she can seek proper medical care because she is currently unable to work. About a month ago she had a c&p exam but the day before the VA called and said she did not need to be in attendance for it because records were enough. Today I was able to read the report that examiner wrote and it says that the veteran has no history of migraines the veteran has been awarded benefits for migraines in error.......what the heck??? My wife has very high blood pressure which gives migraines. How did the examiner come up with this. what should I do I …

I requested an increase for Peripheral Neuritis and Arthritis. Below is the results. The C&P examiner also found I had Sciatic Neuritis and Posterior Tibial Nerve damage. Veteran's current claimed and diagnosed Right and Left Lower Extremity Peripheral Neuritis due to cold exposure is at least as likely as not(50 percent or greater probability) a continuation and/or progression of the Veteran's already service connected Right and Left Lower Extremity, Peripheral Neuritis from Cold Injury. 4. Hearing Loss/Tinnitus(Headaches/Trouble sleeping)
To all, I am a recently retired Marine(1 Sep 2015) and have medium to severe hearing loss(I wear dual hearing aids) and Tinnitus that happened during my career(2004). I had a C&P where they performed a Hearing Exam on me along with the word/speech recognition exam but I failed to get a copy of the results. I wanted to inquire if anyone has also submitted for headaches & trouble sleeping due to the constant Tinnitus. I have a seperate appt at the VA on Monday where I will try to get a copy of the results to try to gauge C&P but below are my last two reults from some tests done on base while still in military. Anyone have any idea on possible % connection(I…

QTC asking ME for medical records already provided to VA????
Hello All, Looking for guidance. I received a call today from QTC representative asking if I could provide copies of current MRI reports for a cervical condition that I have filed for. I told the rep that I had already provided my medical records to the VA and all of the MRI reports should be in the C file. I asked why they were needed and the QTC rep indicated the doctor who completed my C&P examination needed them to complete his report. I asked the QTC rep if the doctor had reviewed my C-file (since all of the information he would need to complete his report is in my medical records). The QTC rep stated the VA did not request a review of my medical records (wha…

hypertension My Response To C & P Exam, Heart And Unclaimed Disabilities
This is my response to recent C & P exam conducted on 10 April 2015. Went over the exam word by word and discovered many, many errors and statements that were not true. Note: I tried to attach this as word document, but hadit system would not accept it. File was only 42kb in size. i used M/S Word 10, as have Word 13, but did not use it. Please note examiners terminology and his omission of key facts, as usual. I did not correct the misspelling by the examiner. Hope this helps someone. I am somewhat meticulous in my critique of the exam, as a decision can turn on one key word or phrase. UPDATED RESPONSE TO C & P Exam on 10 April 2015 Date: 1…

"As Likely as Not" statement on C&P notes
Completed my C&P for Major Depression on Friday, 10/2/15, and on the C&P notes from MyHealtheVet, the Doc stated that the condition is "As Likely as Not" a result of Military Service. Now, I've seen on other forums where is said that this is a 50/50 statement, and the benefit of doubt goes to Veteran. My last claim notes said same, and was awarded 30%. Can anyone chime in on this and let me know your thoughts or experiences?

C & P Examiner Marked Boxes For Wrong Extremity
I am new to this forum so bear with me please. Background: I filed a claim for increased compensation for both knees, both shoulders, cervical spondylosis, thoracic spine, and GERD. Increase for knees and cervical spine was denied. I was awarded a 10% increase (to 20%) for the right shoulder and 10% thoracic spine (was 0%). The GERD and left shoulder were deferred....I had another C & P exam last week for GERD. I was awarded 20% for LEFT upper extremity radiculopathy secondary to cervical spondylosis and degenerative disk disease. The problem is that it should be the RIGHT upper extremity clearly indicated on the neurology report. I didn't notice that my notif…
