diabetes C H A M P V A - One Of The Very Best Benefits!
Just got through gathering up the Wife's receipts for the last three months to send in to CHAMPVA. Total is $2,233.00 that was NOT covered by her employer-provided health insurance. She has diabetes and some of her drugs are like $450 over and above her primary health insurance. YUP, I am most pleased with CHAMPVA. There will be a check in the mailbox for this, probably before the first of the year. Being 100% disabled is NOT FUN...........heck, if I was able to work my health insurance because of my work would take the place of the CHAMPVA, with HER work's health insurance being the "primary" payor. So, I guess that we are not getting anything that I would not have …

ptsd TDIU must consider all service connected issues
I have been noticing a trend in mostly all Veterans cases for TDIU as is happening in my case. I got a call from the VA requesting that I clarify which service connected issues render me unemployable. I stated all. But they concentrated on two. As in my case I stated that I have combination of injuries that have disabled me however, it is my service connected illnesses and injuries that prevent and make it very difficult to have continued my profession. More importantly, substantial gainful employment that is. In that I realized that the VA is asking me to be a "doctor" and state which two injuries or disabilities render me unemployable. Guess which two the VA decide…

IU C&P result
This is my first post. I am rated 70% overall, 50% for migraines, 30% for shoulder, and 20% for back. This rating came in mid-november 2015 and I immediately applied for IU. I had another set of C&P exams that were requested and performed only four months after my original C&P exams in August. My veterans representative has sent me copies of all three C&P exams. The exam for the back has rom that is more restrictive then the original exam. It says that flexion is now 0 to 30 degrees, and extension 0 - 10 degrees. The first back exam said 0 - 40 + 0 - 15. The shoulder exam was unchanged. The back exam also says "veteran is unable to perform both sedentary and m…
