Claim increase
I filed for an increase on my left thumb 20%, left index finger 10%, left middle finger 20%, left ring finger 10%, left little finger 0%, & a new claim for trigger finger of left middle finger. Everything printed plainly and clearly legible. I checked va.gov to see if it had made it to initial review & this screenshot is what they had down. It doesn't make sense to me. Do they just not know how to type or do they just not give a damn? I plan on keeping an eye on it for a few days to see if it changes. And if it doesn't I guess I'll figure out who I need to call.

Why is VA Scheduling a CP Exam for a 20 year old NOD
Good evening. 2003 submitted a claim, majority Environmental Hazard conditions - Southwest Asia 2 out of 10 were granted. The rest denied. Submitted an NOD A few weeks ago I received a letter from VA. They acknowledged receiving my NOD 20 years ago and also acknowledged that no further action was taken on their part on my legacy appeal. Basically they let the ball drop on my other claims. Today I received a call from Veterans Evaluation Services to schedule an appointment for the remaining unadjudicated claims. I am grateful they have finally acknowledge my claim, just wondering what should I expect after 20 years? Best way to manage…

BVA direct review w/ law judge + priority processing/hardship
I have filed a direct review w/ law judge from an appeal of 1/22. For what should have been an easy claim/increase it is now being dragged out. As of last week my vso filed a priority processing form/hardship. If the normal timeline for these is 365days, my question is, what is the average time completed or peoples experience with priority processing at bva level? Thanks

supplemental claim for increase of migraine rating denied
I was awarded service connection secondary to sleep apnea for migraines. They gave me a 0% rating which was complete bullshit so i submitted a supplemental with a lay statement from myself and my wife explaining that my migraines happen on average 4 times a month and are prostrating in nature. I also added a list of workdays missed and other days that I had prostrating migraines. I figured this would be enough because they never even asked me to describe my migraines at my c&p exam in the first place. Well, the cocky bastards continued my rating at 0% stating that there was no new evidence added to the original c&p findings which were garbage to begin with. I am …

Has anyone ever had bad luck using DAV?
I decided to use DAV to help with my appeal. When I went in to see the lady and I was very disappointed. She basically argued with me about my appeal, she couldn't figure out the dates on my claim, and she couldn't answer my questions without sending the question to someone on the other end of her computer. I took it for about 30-45 minutes asked for my paperwork back, I told her have a nice day and left. I was mad all day! Lol. I guess I'll go back to my VSO. I really don't know how this lady got her job because she knew nothing. Anyway I hope everyone using DAV has better luck than I did.

Response to my dispute of the record.
Ok this is the games you play when you fight the VA. Ok I apply for mental health 2001. So I get the rba and there was never a appeal decision made that is in the record. I understand that it remain pending in appeal status. An there is no final decision made way before I got the record. I just want the VA to admit it. That why I dispute the record. Well here is there response to the court. The undersigned reviewed Appellant’s RBA and electronic claims file in the Veterans’ Benefits Management System (VBMS) and could not locate a Rating Decision dated March 22, 2004, that mentioned a denial of Appellant’s claim of entitlement to service …

VA Comp/Pen Bank Deposit surprise
I don't have an attorney but it seems I won I'll wait on the letter to know what was granted. I've multiple issues on appeal so I really don't know what was granted. Bottom line is... last night i checked my bank account and the VA deposited close to $7200.00. Seven years in appeals(so far). I can't log in to VA.gov for some reason. App won't load from log in page. Maybe they got me on their blacklist too?

Submitted the NOD and was granted secondary service connection
Hey and Howdy, I submitted the NOD and just received back a letter from VBA stating that the appeal for my left foot neuroma is being granted secondarily to service connection injuries. I did not receive a statement of case, date of claim or percentage granted. The e-benefits web site says the date of claim was in 2005 but no exact date. The letter goes on to say that the VBA will be getting in touch with me in a couple of months or so. Is this standard operating procedure not to relay date of claim or percentage granted? Thank You, T. Lawler, E-5, medically retired

I really think the VA is trying trying to make me give up
Ok I got a decision that granted a half step of smc. I am now smc l and a half. Well I have received the notification letter. Just the decision. Well I call today to see what going on they tell me they are reviewing it. What how does the ro review a bva decision. Are they just to implement it the decision. Smh. So now what they want me to fight for the extra 200.00 a month for four years. Smh I might be take this wrong but I have never heard of the ro feeling they have to review a bva judge decision. Told this can take up to one or two months. Has anyone had this happen after bva granted something.

MORE SMOKE AND MIRROS FROM THE BVA
What is going on with the BVA? I know the BVA said that they can no longer guesstimate on any legacy claim time frame, but this seems odd. I posted that the BVA was working on January 2018 on July 4, 2021, then it jumped to February 2018 around July 23, 2021, and again it jumped to March 2018 around August 17, 2021, and then on August 28, 2021, it jumped to May 2018. Around September 3, 2021, it then jumped to June 2018, and finally on September 24, 2021, it jumped to July 2018. Then on October the 1, 2021, it moved back to June 2018, and on October 8. 2021, it moved back to May 2018, and it has not moved since. So, between October 19, 2021, to present the BVA has complet…

Legacy claim question
I asked this question yesterday I think but cannot find it here. A friend I have from the original hadit board has been in appeals for many many many years- He has done very well so far but this is my question: On a remand from the BVA he succeeded in a big claim but they denied again, some other claims that had merit. I dont seem to have his entire award-yet- Does this mean that the RO will pay him any retro- if due to him-(it might involve a higher SMC level-and was a Fenderson rating)-and then send his remand back to the BVA ?or is he eligible to respond to their SSOC with more evidence ( actually evidence they already have but did not …
