Regulatory and procedure review 23 of April closed 30th with 117 pages in the file tab. Then one open on the 24 still pending review my claim for SMC with 114 documents in review.... couldn’t have lockdown Burdens with my RO closed since March who the hell is doing the reviewing and it sounds as if I didn’t have to stress about something else in life right now. What in the hell is going on?

Soo I am on the same Boat actually have two procure reviews on the 23 and 24th the first closed on April 30th and the other is still active. Be nice if they can fix my headaches increase EED from 2018 to 2010 but doubt it due to the significant retro that would follow 6 years of back pay at 100% from 90%.....Least I can see all the files they are reviewing in both be nice to read after the review why my sTBI has Ptsd as a symptom and not it’s own rating but I’m P and T so that’s why it’s listed as a chronic symptom just irks me sometimes when I’m at the VA hospital and they have it as 100% ptsd and no mention about my month long coma sTBI....but I’m alive kicking with a family so I’m done wasting my family time and the VA nip picking every single day of my young kids life ones already starting kindergarten and the other turns 3 on Friday in lockdown Delaware....

Other then my permanent short term memory impairment and headaches 3 to 5 days out of a week managed by medication. I’m functional they told me. I can live just fine, as long as I don’t forget my wallet and keys anymore in public places, I’ve had my wallet mailed back to me twice in the past 3 years I’m on my 4th issued driving license. My panic attacks are generally daily when I freak about misplaced things, and my anger is uncontrollable at times and I have complete memory lapses at Times. But apparently don’t qualify for a caregiver or smc-T because I’m able to walk on my own, shower eat shit and shave I really stopped fighting for anything with the Va when they decided to raise my headaches rating from 0 to 50% no EED then 2018 and not when I filed in 2010. But I have two young children to worry about making myself on the bottom of the totem pole again for at least a few years....

So to answer your question no it won’t hurt you Two different programs it won’t be easy or a short process for anything to say at the least the VA. I was awarded TDIU P and T and had to work while I waited to keep a roof over my families head. I have to say I think I was actually just fired from job 6 before they awarded me that due to my memory issues and safety precautions. We all have hardships and money needs your taking care of yourself it won’t be used again you might have to explain your job history at a C and P but not UE which you paid into....

Just a heads up to everyone I don’t have allot of free time anymore since I don’t have any help with my children due to the Coronavirus, it gets exhausting with my 5 and 2 year old. Like the title says never missed a mortgage payment, but now two kids needing my watch how if any protections for people with VA loans in this time of crisis of missing a payment and Wells Fargo payment past due ?

Everyone in Delaware got the call all restaurants closed by 8 as with all liquor stores no groups over 100 gathered all gyms closed.... not picking on the VA we have all got our stories about them.

Also if you go into your local VA hospital, you can request the copy of the report from QTC. I’ve done this 3 different times and I was handed a print out of the exam every time. Once you have that exam you’ll know what she put.... I like all the answers but nothing we can say will change the VA decision or the QTC exam report.

I know you can’t be granted retro for the caregiver program. But since I was denied for whatever the reason was what essentially can they saw if I appeal there decision now? I’m still 100% P and T

But you can get IMO who feels like your reason is correct write a opinion use that as evidence file a DRO if you’re retro isn’t going to be over 25k. And that’s the quickest or you could just reopen in a new claim with the new evidence. Both have worked for me and I wasn’t worried about retro just that they got it right...

As with my TBI they will include 3 conditions with it connected but your awaiting a C and P for each or just for the rating im not speculating this is exactly what happened to me except my 3 connected issues were lightheadedness and dizziness and not vertigo, post traumatic migraines not headaches I know they are the same thing just worded differently...and fatigue the same

Hard to say I would say ebenefits has changed. Are you referring to VA.gov the replacement did you check you current rating? It took me awhile to figure out where it was in the new website I was so used to Ebenefits. But check here for your current TBI decision.... it will have a breakdown of what was denied and rated it can’t disappear... unless processing it currently

It may be a recent grant was awarded with back pay and if you have attorneys fees then they are paid before any retro is fished out. But I’ve never seen this worded like this then again the processes have change since 2016....

I have to say my VA records similar to yours where they lowballed my sTBI at 70% but gave me IU 100% made it P and T if that makes any sense. It took me six years to get jt corrected and my 0 for my migraines took 8 years to finally get bumped up to 50% but since they had made me 100% backdate to when I filed when I fixed my TBI I didn’t worry about the EED issue that and like you I was granted SSDI for them already which is one of the factors that made my increase very quicker. I was just concerned on getting the correct rating after 8 years for my headaches, but the way the two are worked they won’t hold each other up. As far as it was concerned in my case I had an active appeal for the Permanent and total when I filed an increase. The increase went in light speed in talking about 2 months for the 0 to 50% jump. The Permanent and total appeal was apparently something they missed when they made me 100% scheduler. I walked into the RO with my IU P and T award and I asked the Head officer in charge at the RO to ask him the question and he came say my paperwork said they didn’t see my old decision from Philly and the next day new decision 100% P and T. I also live 10 minutes from my RO makes it easy not sure if it’s as easy for you. Lost in my head sorry so if you have an appeal already in the works I would file an increase and if it’s black and white get the increase that’s probation weight for the BVA to look at that’s just my advice.... get it right the BVA will Correct the EED they have never failed me shocking I am a fan of the boards decisions usually

Wow i thought mine was a huge mistake from 2010. And was 100% but even just 10% over 40 years is a huge chunk....

I don’t understand how in the world they get these dates correct ever on the first shot. Point being made I was made after 4 claims for an increase rated for my headaches at 50% having been 0% for 8 years never having a exam for my headaches to be evaluated in my 3 prior claims just grouped in with my sTBI residuals rated at 100% P and T. But then last year they gave me an exam by itself for my headaches I think because my TBI was finally made P and T in 2016 not dated back to my claim in 2010 when I was only made 90% total with all my other conditions. But had my headaches been rated 50% prior I would have been 100% way prior in 2010. Call me crazy and I know I am what I am. But it’s only because of 3 years of fighting from 2014-2017 I am 100% P and T SMC S and have now devoted most of my time with my two young children won’t get this time back. Financially struggling like most parents having to pay for preschool in Delaware with my wife working a part time and me disabled gets a bit tight. Having said all this is there an easy way to file an appeal to my headaches that I’ve been to the ER of and on since 2010 while being rated at 0 which magically turned to 50% 8 years later. Filing has become a mystery to me now after just two years it seems methods have changed but the end game still shows no change in if it’s an certain amount of retro it has to go to the BVA anyways. 90% to 100% doesn’t sound like allot but take that times 6-7 years which would be my owed retro. I have plenty of evidence to show the increase should have been granted prior but aware it takes allot out of me and my family when it becomes my new OCD issue to deal with. I’m past the one year mark from the last increase and I don’t think CUE can be filed for a disagreement with EED so is it money I lost? I’m not mad because I’ve spent countless hours raising my kids. Back pay would amount to 100k roughly just from that small increase of 90 to 100 times 6.5 years just another what if has anyone filed an increase and at the new exam bring on the evidence to establish an Earlier EED trying to use the VA to show they made a mistake with their own doctors

Is there a program to help pay for a bathroom remodel to help shower yourself due to limitations of my current P and T disability? I just want to get my shower redone tired of falling in my stand up shower.

Honestly same story here mostly but I wasn’t awarded a Purple Heart for my sTBI . But I had to get a occupational assessment from a doctor when they said I was 90% IU and P and T. I laughed a year later after the assessment awarded SSDI and 100% scheduled P and T. I’m not promoting people business o don’t think It’s allowed but I will say I paid 500 bucks for it message me I’ll give you his name a Dr credentials. No point on delaying what you deserve this person will also wait till your awarded or work out a payment plan for the 500...,.

I’m not sure your level of cognitive ability but as for me I was pissed when I was rated 90% P and T. One was my sTBI month long coma so I filed a DRO review which she also saw the mistake and rushed my appeal to the board and it was granted after two months. But barring a huge mistake why poke the bear....

It will say If it’s P and T which if you have a family ChampVA is good usually

But it will say under the VA letters if you are or aren’t rated 100% for Tdiu or if it permanent and total.
