  1. Sorry that you are upset, but I really don't know what you are asking for bud. What the VA is doing, is looking at your past Notes and asking why certain words were stated to VA Doc, yet now you are bad off. Remember that the VA Docs always note what a Vet states during sessions. There have been a few Vets on here, that say they can Build Boats, Play Video Games and Work Full Time, yet they Get Mad when the VA denies, low balls or Reduces their %s. Not saying you are not sick, what I am saying is that I could not do any of the above, and surely not travel unless I have too, but that is why I am 100% P&T and on SSDI. Good luck and wish you the best. God Bless and please seek help if you are feeling bad, or over whelmed in life.

  2. I am sorry if the Doc was rude, but as stated by USMC they will Verify everything and word we say as Vets, just part of the process. As far as Migraine Meds, I am 50% for Migraines/TBI, and I take a totally different Med, and I get close to 40 Injections thru the VA Neuro Doc every  Months, which is the Max the VA will treat and yet I am only 50%. I have had Neuro Stimulation Tests and Brain Scans just for VA to Verify what was there all along. When Vets ask me what to say or do prior to Exams, I always inform them not to over due it, even if it is true, let the Medical Evidence speak for Itself. As USMC stated now the VA has documented you stating the you are taking so much meds, yet the Prescription Timeline did not match, and you have not been hospitalized, VA stated your CT scan was normal. Not saying you don't have or suffer from Migraines, but if you are well documented thru the VA treatment records, then just go with that. Either way good luck and God Bless

  3. Sorry bud, Asknod is exactly on the money bud. In my case I contracted MRSA from Walter Reed Medical Hospital in DC back in 2010, while recovering from Throat Surgery. My family and I fought it for a couple of years, and in my case it was Cut out 7 times and almost killed me as I have Crohns disease already, not a good combo. Anyways I did not even now to claim MRSA while I was being Medically Retired, and the VA/RO granted me 2 separate 0%s for the MRSA. Also I was granted another 0% for Shingles, due to the fact I had it 2x in one year, which from what I hear is very rare. Asknod is so right, even though we may come off as harsh, I don't see exactly what you are asking for, or the fact that All of your Professional Folks are in Cahoots, just hard to believe. I see that you are 30%, what are you SC for? What exactly are you seeking, cause I know sometimes Vets will go thru there SMRs, and think, there are a few scrape and burses that we can get SC for, but that is not how it works. There are a lot of conditions out there, that the VA just does not compensate for, no matter how bad we think it is. Good luck, God Bless and I apologize if I came off like I don't care, that is not the case at all, just don't want to see you chase your tail for nothing.

  4. Congrats bud, looks like you were granted the IU. Now I just a few weeks ago my Temporary 100% was Granted to 100% Permanent, no future exams. Good news for you, but remember that with the IU you can not work and make sure you do not make any income and you send those forms to the VA every year stating that you have not been Gainfully Employed. Hope you have a good week, and God Bless

  5. I was Medically Retired in Feb 2013 with 30% DOD and 80% VA. I was misinformed back then and I thought the same as you bud. What I did was get out, get on Hadit and became well informed with all the help of the good folks on here. Since I am 100% VA P&T, SSDI approved and Wife is paid by VA to be my Caregiver. What I am trying to say is that in my opinion, you are being offered a very Favorable initial ratings from Both. With 40% from DOD will get you a Medical Retirement with benefits like Great Life Insurance, Base Privileges, Tricare etc.  With 90% VA you will be taken care of from VA, receive Compensation and you can always submit for an increase. Getting Service Connection Granted thru the VA is the Key, after that you can always submit a new claim for an increase or new Secondary conditions. If you read my long list of Conditions on my Signature, yet I left the Navy just 2 years ago at only 80%. The Worst thing that PEBLOs and VETs think, is "I should easily get 100% VA, cause I am so messed up", WRONG. It actually takes a lot of Big and Small Conditions Granted to receive 100% VA. Just my opinion, Good luck and God Bless!!!
