  1. Watch out for the rip offs... I got a call from a mortgage company claiming to be VA approved and offering 3% re-fies.
  2. I hope things are getting better for you, Ester. Any word from the VA yet?
  3. My most positive thoughts are with you, 'Ester'.
  4. Sounds like you have been through a lot, 'Spadoman'. Sorry to hear about your health issues. Good Luck on the back pay.
  5. ???? ... Did you ever receive a "letter of denial" for the PTSD after the 1990 incident?
  6. I enjoy ice fishing in WI. Great state for the sportsman. Good luck with your shoulder and the crossbow, 'Hamslice'. CB
  7. JMHO... I don't think a vet's SC condition or rating would give one a higher priority for appointments, Michellee. I truly don't believe you get faster service if your disability is rated higher than the vet sitting next to you in that long line of people waiting to be seen. My Purple Heart and 50 cents wouldn't get me a cup of coffee any faster at a VAMC than the next guy there. LOL. You are your best advocate. It is very easy to fall through the cracks in such a massive and overcrowded system. If you think you have waited too long for an appointment, then call the clinic or your PCP or PCP RN Coordinator at the clinic. I would urge you to keep trying until you get results. Good Luck, Cmdr. Bob

  9. Yes. When it arises, I put the words "possible trigger" in the title of the topic. Much thanks to the elders and moderators for the instruction... CB
  10. Boom!!! Hi Pete,.. Just thought I would blast you on that one. I know, and have met several SC triple amputees that work, or at least try to, and I can't believe that their disability rating is at risk. I respect your thoughts and comments, and I'm just trying to figure this one out. Best Wishes, CB
  11. JMHO... YES. As previously posted in this thread, there are certain limitations and exclusions, however, from what have you posted here, I would think you could work.
  12. I regret to report that I have yet to find a ball park number anywhere within the world of the VA. I hope you find it, and hit one out of it. I plan on doing so... Good Luck, Cmdr. Bob
  13. any friend of the Infantryman, is a friend of mine.

  14. ...and that's another reason why I avoid the VAMC like the plague. Of course my absents from VA Dr. visits was used against me in my SC claim.
  15. Sorry to hear that 'COOL BREEZE'. I hope you get this resolved more sooner than later. Are you SC on the hearing??? I can't remember if you mentioned it before. Best wishes, CB
  16. Sounds S.O.P. to me... Best wishes for a successful outcome, Oli. Cmdr. Bob
  17. I really don't want to slam the VA, however "the past must be remembered lest we repeat it".. at least the medical community doesn't use a scarificator any more. They used one on our first Commander in Chief.
  18. ... why aren't I surprised??? I'm sure, as you may remember , john999,... new vets should of seen it 40 years ago... We were dodging rats, (Some wore white lab coats). This post has been edited by Commander Bob: Today, 11:45 AM
