Help Please! How To Add A New Condition To An Meb
I am currently going through the proccess of an MEB for a corneal scar in my left eye. (In need of transplant) I just recently got seen by a flight surgeon, which he refferred me to a mental health clinic. From there I talked to a psychiatric provider. I went and got a copy of all of his doctor notes, and it states he thinks I have moderate bi - polar / anxiety issues. I go back for a follow up this upcoming Tuesday. HERES THE CATCH: my last VA appointment is tomorrow. What would I need to do to add this new condition in with my MEB? Any help you be greatly appreciated.

Medicare With Champva
this may be one Berta can answer since I think she uses both. My wife is currently using a Medicare Advantage provider. But with her now eligible for CHAMPVA. My thought is with re-enrollment next month she should go back to the traditional Medicare A&B to use CHAMPVA in conjunction with CHAMPVA. Yes or no? She submitted her enrollment papers to CHAMPVA last month.

Analogous Migraine Associated Vertigo Rating W/ Dc 8100?
I have had vertigo that began during the last few months of active duty, but it was never truly diagnosed. I thought it might be Meniere's (6205) or some other peripheral vestibular disorder (6204). I tried SC'ing the Meniere's, and that was denied, as I expected. I didn't know how else to make that claim; there is not a claim for just plain old regular vertigo. I relented, and put up with condition. Fast forward a year now, with the vertigo attacks still occuring regularly. Long story short, two ENTs I saw on my own dime in Dubai think it is not an ENT condition, but rather something called migraine associated vertigo (MAV), which would be the area of expertis…

Nothing Since January
Well, I'm still standing in that loooooonnnnng line, waiting for an increase decision. I had been having success with the IRIS, at least, I had at least been getting responses; however, over the last couple of months, I have received no replies. I then called the 800 number and had to make a phone appointment for a week later. That conversation was extremely confusing as I was given no good information. the person on the other end could tell me nothing. what a waste. So, I contacted the DAV and am now waiting to hear from them. I pray that other vets in worse shape than me are getting faster results. TOP

Why Does The Va Answer In Riddles?
