Claim Moved To Preparation For Notification
Forgive me if this is posted in the wrong forum, but can someone give me an idea of how long a claim decision takes to be prepared and mailed in the Preparation for Notification phase? Also, is the decision posted on the Ebenefits site, and, if yes, how long does that take after the claim moves into this phase for it to be posted.......and does it contain the same documents that they mail to you? Thanks in advance. NamVetJ

Moving Very Fast
Hey all, my case went from review of evidence to pending decision approval in two days and this is at the Waco Varo. Should I be worried by this rapid movement it seems after two years I am gonna get a negative even though my C+P is on my side.

Thank God Carlie Is Back.
Gee, I never thought I would say that. I am really tired of arguing with my wife, and even the neighbor does not want to argue with me anymore, so, I can argue with Carlie now, like I am supposed to. Welcome Back Carlie

Lejeune Water Victim Speaks Out
"Spina bifida. Asperger's syndrome. Tourette's. Bipolar disorder. Organic brain dysfunction. These are just a few of the diseases William McMurray Jr. suffers from, ailments he says his doctors couldn't explain for the first 20 years of his life -- until they learned of water contamination aboard Camp Lejeune. His is but one story in what many call the greatest case of contamination in U.S. history. A million Marines, sailors and their families drank, bathed, brushed their teeth, cooked, swam and washed their cars, clothes, dishes and pets in bad water at Lejeune for decades." Hadit/svr Program From 4:00Pm Until 7:00Pm
This is a good program and will play in a loop 3 times. That is from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. It would be well worth a listen if you want to get along at the VAMC. Just click the Blue player above to start the show. If you player is interrupted just click the player to off and then restart it. I will post in the archives soon after this loop is complete.

Va Did It Again
Last week I got two envelops from VARO. One had a decision that the answer was No I will consider asking for a Hearing but also will consider to let it go and ask for CUE on another issue. Both white envelops were addressed to me but one had another Vets name and my address and a second part asking for more information to the Veteran and his address on it. I have an appointment at VA on next Monday and am considering taking all of it and complaining about serious Hippa violations or asking my lawyers who won Avandia claim what I need to do. I am not going to put it in mail back to VA I am going to have someone sign and acknowledge that I turned it in and mail a copy of it…

A Question About Sierra Army Depot
Hey guys. Still chugging along on working on my husband's claims, and I am hitting a stumbling block. He had several issues when stationed at Sierra Army Depot, but it's not considered a Superfund site, and isn't on the NPL. I looked around to see if I could find out more information on Sierra, since he had so many issues there, and found several articles about depleted uranium, and also found out that 58,000 acres of SAID was transferred to Honey Lake Conservatory. Would they have transferred the property to Honey Lake to keep from dealing with the toxic clean up? Any ideas on this? Thanks again - y'all are always such a big help.

Ihd/congestive Heart Failure/atrial Fibrilliation
Hi, I'm new to the forum and not sure how it works. My husband was recently awarded 60% for his IHD. In the last 4 mos. his condition has worsened and he now has a pacemaker/ defrillator due to atrial fibrilliation and congestive heart failure With recommendation from his doctors for home oxygen.(not yet approved by board) My question is: just this week he received appt. dates for medical evaluation for his IHD. Should we file claims for the AF and CHF or will the doctor contracted by VA to do the evaluating include the new issues in his report? I've read many post here, and we are afraid they may try to reduce his 60% rating to much less. Any insight would be …

Va Office Of Case Management Phone Number
Is this not well known for a reason? You would think this would be posted out there as a sticky. From the posts I've read where people have used it, they seem to have gotten good results. I'm not sure if it's RO location specific, but if it is, maybe they can give anyone who calls the correct number for their RO. Seems like it would be worth a shot for those that have no where else to turn. VA Office of Case Management 202-273-7453
