Increase Question
Hey, this is my first post on Hadit.com but I have been browsing this forum on and off for the past few months. I am a service-connected vet rated @ 30%, since I was discharged from Active Duty from the Marines in 2003. I should have filed to increase long time ago, but unfortunately I did not have the knowledge or any clue on what to do. According to E-benefits my increase was dated as of 10/31/2012. The expected time of completions states is 10/16/2013 to 05/01/2014. Just recently in the actions area I see a link that says upload documentation. It is on the Under Review portion. I have a 2 part question. Do I need to actually upload any documentation via E-Benefits. Als…

hypertension Need Some Advice....
Okay I know most of you know my issues by now. I filed for a claim for Hypertension last year because it seemed every time I went to see any Doctor my blood pressure was so high they always had to do an EKG or was about to send me to the ER, be it private or the VA. I decided to talk with my PCP at the VA about this and he was able to get me a blood pressure monitor. I got this monitor last Thursday. Every reading I have taken my blood pressure has been okay with the DIA ranging from the high 80s to the low 90s. Now, from all the readings on the net hypertension isn't considered until it reaches 100. My pulse rate on the other hand has been in the 90s and …

Need Some Help
In 2001 i was discharged from the air force for multiple instability on left non dominate arm. The VA at that time assigned me a rating of 20 percent under Diagnostic Code 5202. In approx 2005 I began experiencing decreased range of motion and submitted a claim for increase as the condition worsened. I was granted 30 percent and my rating code changed to 5201 due to limitation of motion with repetitive use. In 2010, I was diagnosed with Chronic Left Shoulder Pain with degenerative changes of humeral head and secondary dysfunction of scapula. I submitted a claim for the secondary dysfunction of the scapular (scapular dyskinesia) it was originally denied in Oct 2011, a…

New Evidence...
Okay I want to get this correct. I filed two claims last year for Bladder and Bowel Incontinence. I was denied both of them because the C&P Examiner said I haven't been diagnosed with them even though Dr. Bash diagnosed me back in July 2012 with them. Today I go see a VA GI Doctor and in his notes he writes in his impression: "44 y.o. mail with urinary and fecal incontinence since 2010, most likely related to spinal injury from jumping from helicopter" Is this enough evidence along with Dr. Bash's to refile with NEW EVIDENCE instead of a NOD? The GI is going to try some treatments on me to see if they can "help" with these issues.

Va Expedites Decisions For Long-Standing Claims
http://www.defense.gov/news/newsarticle.aspx?id=119826 I know this has been posted already, but I do have a question or two. Maybe its too soon to tell what is going to happen (if anything at all) once this starts rolling out. "Effective today, VA claims raters will make provisional decisions on the oldest claims on hand, officials said, which will allow veterans to begin collecting compensation benefits more quickly, if eligible." As I read that sentence, that is telling me that this provisional decision will happen regardless if a veteran agrees with it or not. And, you can only pursue it for what you "think" it is worth if you have new evidence. "If a…

I had a few questions and wanted to get some feedback. When trying to compensation for a back injury, the thoracic and lumbar vertebrae, are they considered two different segments. Ekg/ecg's Reading Of.........va Pcm Said No Biggie In 2010 But Bp Has Been Sky High
If anyone is good with EKG/ECG's can you give me input, also is my blood test concerning bun and white blood cells. This is from 2010 and I've asked my doctor about this, this was acutually the email I sent them via secure messenger. My blood pressure has been high as in 170//115 but they don't seem worried on finding the problem. I was told basically this EKG was a "fluke" but without any further testing completed. "I would like to go over my VA CP EKG from 4 Nov 2010, Diagnosis A. Sinus Tachycardia B. Possible Left atrial enlargement C. Nonspecific T Wave abnormality D. Abnormal ECG" 3. My blood test for the past few years there are…

Claim Advice For Others....
I want others to know from my experience that if you place a claim with the VA and have an IMO, do not send in the IMO until after the C&P exam is completed. From my current experience I just had the C&P examiner will do everything he/she can to rip you apart and will lie, lie, lie on the C&P exam....
