DBQ C&P
I had a DBQ C&P for Bilateral foot pain diagnoses associated with a claim condition Plantar Fasciitis. The C&P was completed by a Gen Med doctor. In the exam I asked did he think I should get surgery on my foot to relieve the plantar fasciitis. He said he's not a foot doctor so he couldn't comment. I asked way are you doing the C&P if you not a foot doc. No response. It seems to me it should be s specialist in the field of feet if you are going to get a good C&P. Anyway he diagnosed me as having pain in the arch area as well as heel and mild metatarsal. My question; is there a % in the mix.

This doctor broke my dx down to symptoms for each Chronic Adjustment disorder depression and anxiety with frustration of concerns about my TBI. PTSD hyper vigilianve slee disturbances nightmares suspiciousness increased startled response reduced interest and motivation panic attacks and irribility. For my TBI reduced attention and reduced concentration with a horrible short term memory and auditory memory. Very interested to see how this one panes out. I already have two active appeals pending one with the VLJ and the other pending with the NOD. This C&P was done for my intial claim for chronic AD

Comp & Pen exam for skin need advice
I am new to the group and I do not know if anyone will even respond or not but I have to ask. The VA called me in for a reevaluation exam on July 5. I am service connected for Acne Vulgaris and hidradenitis suppurativa and I have scars. They made me come in for an exam on July 5 becasue they are trying to mess with my rating. I went through that exam and now they are making me take another one on Aug 14. I am worried that they are going to lower my rating and screw me over on anything they can and anturally I want to prevent that. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or information they are willing to share that could possilby help me prepare for my exam on Aug 14? I …

C n P rationale and opinion interpretation
So I went to release of records and I got my c n p exam notes . it's States. Based upon direct evaluation and review of the veterans service treatment records DSM-5 diagnosis of other specified trauma or stressor related disorder is provided. The trauma is.....(goes into my specific trauma) this diagnosis is a clarification of the adjustment disorder with mixed anxiety and depressed mood assigned in service My questions is what diagnosis will I be service connected for?/ did the examiner provide the diagnosis for the OSTRD? I know ultimately the raters decide but from the examiners opinion do you think she's implying service connection?

C&P for PTSD/MDD - Would like opinion on results
I received my C&P over the weekend. My exam was nearly three hours and I think the report is accurate and fair and represents how things are. I was as honest as I could be with the examiner and despite being nervous to the point of an anxiety attack about it the day before calmed down a bit and was OK during the visit. The doctor did a good job asking questions and made me feel at ease which is saying something. The report ended up being 18 pages which surprised me. I had PMd the results to a handful of people here on HADIT and a couple recommended I post it for more input. I was hesitant to do so but decided my desire for more information is more important…

What should I do?
So I had a C&P exam today for ptsd, I was super nervous. They asked about employment and I told them I have worked on and off for the last few years for a couple different people and that I did odd jobs here and there. Then later she asked if i was employed right now and I said no. After the interview I was thinking about my answers. I just started working part time for my church, setting up for activities and some maintenance. I don't really have anyone over me and I don't have any set hours, its really kind of casual. I did not tell her about that because I didn't even think about it. So should I try and let someone know that I am working part time, if …

No Va Doctor Qualified to Evaluate Me
I received a 10% rating for TMJ. Come to find out I have a condition that is much more serious than TMJ. I actually have maxillary hyperplasia and unilateral mandibular condylar hyperplasia. My top jaw grew shorter than my bottom and my left joint that connects my bottom jaw to my skull, along with the bone the connects the same to my chin, grew bigger and longer than the right, respectively. This has caused my face to become asymmetric and deformed. It has also caused functional problems such as pain, problems chewing and speaking. Although I am 100% I have been denied a diagnosis and much-needed surgery to correct these conditions. The VA doctors, in order to cover…

Shoulder Injury - Muscle or Joint?
I am having a shoulder injury rated. Are shoulders rated on the joint as well as the muscle? It appears muscle injuries rate a higher percentage than joint injuries. Are the damages stacked? For example, if I am 20% shoulder and 20% joint, will that be 30% (or 40%, I have not done the math) or will they only accept one? Thank you.

C&P Mental Examination Results Opinions?
Hello everyone, It has been a while but I finally received my C&P examination for mental health. Currently am 50% for Major Depression, seeking 70%. I went to my examination in stained sweats, faded shirt, flip flops, unshaven, and hair frizzy and not brushed. For some reason, I believe my C&P examiner was wishing I did not come so she could go to lunch early based on her reaction to my arrival and her BSing with the receptionist prior. Anyway, I feel angry after reading her assessment and would like to know what you all think. I think she checked the box for 30% which is a decrease but all the symptoms are 70% looking. It feels really bad she is trying…
