PTSD C&P results
I received my official C&P results today. I know most of the criteria such as the occupational and social impairment, as well as several of the symptoms fall into the 70% range. But I do have panic attacks frequently, that do affect my work. The doctor even put in there that my employment is in jeopardy because of my panic attacks. Would this sway it to the 100% range? Or do the symptoms and occupational impairment HAVE to fall into that range. I have a paper copy, so I can't just copy and paste it onto here, but I will put everything on here. Please tell me what you think:Does the veteran now have or has he/she been diagnosed with PTSD? YESMental Disorder…

PFD
On February 17, 2017 I'd filed for Chronic Pain Symptoms Disorder which falls under Mental Health. I completed a C&P exam on June 9, 2017 that was given by a Psychiatrist at QTC. Today, my claim moved to Preparation For Decision with estimation of completion 7/20/17-8/20/17. I'm hoping for the best as always, but also know that it can go either way. Hopefully, it won't be too long! Also, I have 2 appeals (both DRO Review) that have been on-going for over 600 days and still counting.

C&P PTSD Increase is this 70 or 100% Thoughts?
History, Going on for over 12+ years since left the militray .First raiting 50% Went for increase this was from my DBQ C&P .. Thoughts all? See below Is this 70 (most would say 70). could it sway 100%? If you think 100% do you believe sched or temp? I did not apply for IU but I am told they have to consider it anyways. The doctor also used some verbage that was interesting It is not possible to differentiate what portion of each symptom is attributable to each diagnosis because all of the veteran'schronic PTSD and bipolar symptoms have been chronic, progressive, biologically and behaviorally interactive, and thesymptoms are concurrent and overlapp…

C&Ps
I'm awaiting now to schedule two C&Ps one for a skull fracture where the first doctor opined 7 years ago that the doctors from my sTBI where incorrectly dx with this because they could second guess not one but about 6 or 7 other doctors from my from my intial injury and the months that followed with rehab. It's all Bs that made me wait years to get what I should have originally have gotten 7 years ago. They are now scheduling my exam for my DVT since I was just at the doctor two months ago they wanted to check the severity. Both of these issues were just for service connection so I hope that's a good sign. Then I had two for july 6th but the provider canceled and resc…

PTSD C&P
I just had my PTSD C&P exam yesterday for an increase from 50% Now, I know what I'm about to say is total speculation. No, I don't need you to tell me this stuff, because I know it is not 100% guaranteed. No, I haven't seen the final report, so nothing is final. But when he was putting stuff into his computer, he told me what he put in and went over it with me. So, based on this, do you think I could get a raise from 50%? He said he put: OCCUPATIONAL AND SOCIAL IMPAIRMENT WITH DEFICIENCIES IN MOST AREAS, SUCH AS WORK, SCHOOL, FAMILY RELATIONS, JUDGMENT, THINKING AND/OR MOOD Depressed mood Anxiety Suspiciousness Near-continuous panic or depressi…

VA added diability to claim-deleted it and simply denied all other contentions - Advice needed
So, I have an interesting situation here that I’m not entirely sure how to approach. I had a C&P exam January 2017. The doc examined my stomach for a contention of gastro-intestinal disturbance (Gulf War vet). The doc also examined my anus/sphincter for hemmoroids. In regard to intestinal/colon: (7319) 3. Signs and symptoms --------------------- Does the Veteran have any signs or symptoms attributable to any non-surgical non-infectious intestinal conditions? [X] Yes [ ] No If yes, check all that apply: [X] Alternating diarrhea and constipation If checked, describe: Has been having diarrhea and cons…

Can't believe I had a C&P examiner just eye ball my ROM. I've been to a fair share of C&P exams and thought that the whole C&P examiner didn't use a measuring device couldn't happen to me. I was wrong and kind of shocked. I had her complete the exam.

have a question
will the VA rate a 20% lumbosacral strain higher if the C & P mentions radiculopathy and flare ups occurring at least weekly and often more? is the radiculopathy a secondary condition?

ptsd C&p Exam Ptsd - Mst And Bipolar, Mdd - Secondary
I have been reading on this forum and am really nervous about the C&P exam that I have coming up this Thursday. It seems there are so many horror stories. I was triggered with PTSD summer of 2013 and had to call VA crisis line Nov 2013 when I was thinking of killing myself because I was becoming so unraveled and didn't understand why...hadn't been in the service since 1996 and didn't even know that MST existed...it wasn't until i talked to the crisis DR follow up the next day that he said it sounded like I had PTSD. I thought PtSD was just for people who saw war. I was out of on short term disability at work in Nov 2013, Dec 2013, March 2014, and haven't been able to …

C & P Exam by QTC?
So went for my Exam last week, and wow, that was an experience. Mine was completed by QTC medical, MD Patrick H Dang. I think I spent about 10 mins with the Doctor. Had me stand and measured by back ROM, had me bend side-to-side, turn my head side-to-side, then sit in a chair and lift my arms. Next it was lay on a table, and bend my knees. Done. He asked about a couple items I had listed like lower back, carpal tunnel, but nothing about other items. He sent me for crap load of x-rays. So I spent 10 mins with Doctor, and 45 mins with x-ray tech. Does that sound about normal to others experiences?

Sleep apnea
Is it safe to say if I had no prior dx of sleep apnea and now my first ever study showed mild sleep apnea since my sTBI it could be claimed as secondary? I'm awaiting my local Va opinion but if it is secondary to my TBI at which point is pyramid a problem. I already have blackout spills claimed as dizziness and lightness, scars from the feeding and tracheotomy tube, and migraines claimed as headaches. Lumped in with it is PTSD and soon to be Chronic AD for a combined 70% . If i now file for Sleep apnea which now I'm being fit tested for a CPAP machine if found to be a secondary claim could that be lumped in with my TBI and I'm not going to bother asking about ratings.

Non va doctor's DBQ vs C&P exam dbq
I served in Vietnam from 1965 to 1966 and recently submitted a claim for coronary artery disease. I had quintuple bypass surgery and my surgeon filled out a DBQ listing my mets as 1. My C&P nurse measured my scar and told me my disease was serviced connected. She listed my mets as between 5 - 7. My question is which mets rating will the RO take into consideration for compensation.
