PTSD C&P Results
Hello, new here, and wondering what you might think of results. I feel i fall into the 70 category, but unsure, especially how it seems marked at the 50%. Only thing I had was depression/ptsd and anger got worse filing for increase. Now the CP exam marked me with OCD, which is new for me. But said it may be worse then my PTSD, or enhances it. Any ides or similar experiences. I dont quite know what or how it will be rates as it has quite a bit of the 70% verbage. Is this DBQ being completed in conjunction with a VA 21-2507, C&P Examination Request? [X] Yes [ ] No SECTION I: ------…

Menieres C&P
So I got a call today to schedule a C&P exam for an increase on my SC'd menieres disease. I sent in an FDC claim with all medical records and a DBQ but for some reason they still ordered a C&P(next time if I file again for anything I won't waste my money on a DBQ clearly they aren't worth doing). I am wondering if they will do an audiogram and ENG/VNG testing even if I bring in my reports that I just had done a month ago. I really don't want to go through the ENG testing again because it throws me off for a good week or longer. Can you choose where you get to have your C&P done at, or do they just give you a time and place to show up?

Normal C&P for Depression?
I was given a medical discharge for depression from the service about 20 years ago and have a 20 year history of ongoing mental health treatment. I finally decided to file for VA benefits (I've always worked) and had my C&P exam a couple weeks ago and wondered if this was a normal experience. The exam lasted almost three hours and I had to take a long test of a couple hundred questions. The doctor (psychologist) was very nice and he seemed interested in my case but asked a lot of questions about my childhood. My case involved childhood MST and repressed memories of it until a flashback while I was on active duty brought everything out. I was tossed in the ho…

C&P for Bruxism secondary to PTSD
I am rated at 30% for PTSD and I have other things pending but after returning as a door gunner in Desert Storm, I started having severe headaches and TMJ. Both have been diagnosed and DBQ done by my medical Dr stating more likely than not related to the PTSD. I have an upcoming C&P exam with QTC for my diagnosed Bruxism, related to PTSD. I have broken several teeth from grinding at night and just broke another crown that they will see on Monday when I go in. Anyone else ever dealt with this or have any advice? I sleep with a mouth guard but I am on my 3rd one right now after chewing threw the first two. I also have been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and sleep with…

Will Clicking the Blue Button Allow Viewing Results of C&P Exams?
I have only the basic MyHealtheVet account and can't access any C&P exam results, or other medical records done at my local VA centers. Does the VA require I submit VA Form 10-5345a-MHV and get a premium MyHeatheVet account in order to view my records/exams? I've noticed other members have access to their records/exams. Is this what you guys did?

The VARO Develops Evidence To Deny Claim(Ankles)
I had a C&P exam for my ankle condition performed by QTC in July, 2016. The QTC examiner( PA-C), service connected my ankle condition(bilateral)on his DBQ/ medical opinion and gave a concise rationale based upon service medical treatment records. However... the VARO wouldn't render a decision after the favorable C&P exam. Instead, I was sent for another C&P exam to Lake Baldwin(Orlando VAMC) five months later. The second examiner(PA-C) wouldn't service connect my ankle disability(less likely as not) on his DBQ/medical opinion. I asked the second examiner why was I having another C&P exam for the same con…

MH cp exam, examiner states you don't have something you have been diagnosed with for years
I had a cp exam and recently received the results, I found it odd that the box asking if I was diagnosed with multiple mental health issues said No was checked as I have numerous diagnoses in my VA chart and my last mh cp exams all had yes checked? Also, I am being treated at the VA for all of them, one of which is panic disorder with agoraphobia. I do not leave my house alone, ever. I am on a lot of benzos (I know) because of my panic disorder and yet she said I do not have panic disorder nor panic disorder with agoraphobia. The last cp examiner said I do have them, which was 3 months ago, but they weren't service connected........ It was rated then and combined wi…

PTSD Re-examination
Good evening All, I am service connected for PTSD (70%) and I recently tried committing suicide by getting drunk and taking 50 Tylenol PMs (I was in a dark place at the time). My therapist wanted to have me committed, however there were no beds available. I have since quit drinking and I am in therapy and taking medications, though it doesn't seem to help. My therapist has also put me in an alcohol treatment program, though when I went and saw him it was like all my other therapy sessions. I am scheduled for a re-examination soon and I am wondering what to do and what may happen. Any and all comments are welcome and I appreciate all the help.

QTC exam.....
So I recently spoke to my RO in Philly and i spoke with someone I have been in contact with since my DRO hearing in 2015. I called him and said I spoke with QTC and they said they no more examiners in Delaware and I would have to travel to Philadelphia for my exam. He said no you don't submit in writing you wish to close your request with QTC and wish to have it moved to VES who has lots of Delaware examiners. So that's what I did and then called QTC and said send request back to the VA the lady was like what's the reason I said I'm not going to drive to Philly with my wife from Delaware she said well you know there's a 2 year backlog for TBI reviews and you are suppose …

C & P Examiner Ignored My Nexus Comments
The C & P Orthopedist completely ignored me when I told him that my orthopedic injuries were sustained during combat. What is the best way to handle this if my claim is denied? I've read about pros and cons of appealing, requesting reconsideration, and filing a new claim. Which is the best route to take?
