ptsd Question Of Stressors
Allready SCed for PTSD and depression. The VA used incoming rounds as a stressor. Now, if you also had a tropical disease and before you knew what it was and you were feeling really depressed, angry and then all of a sudden the disease kicked in. Then your sent to medivac delirious and put in the hospital with guys screaming and moaning etc. Could this be used as a additional stressor for the depression and PTSD, to kick the rating up, or would it help.

ptsd Ptsd And
This case shows how a service connected condition such as PTSD can cause disability and death. The widow had private medical opinions and even two fairly negative VA medical opinions did include some support for the claim. http://www.va.gov/vetapp07/files1/0700083.txt "The veteran's service-connected PTSD contributed to his fatal lung cancer in that it played a material causal role in his use of tobacco products after service. The veteran's use of tobacco products caused the disease that is directly linked to the veteran's demise" "ORDER Service connection for the veteran's cause of death is granted, subject to the laws and regulations governing th…

ptsd Ptsd Virtual Reality Therapy:
Salem-News.com (Nov-02-2008 18:59) PTSD Virtual Reality Therapy: Fraudulent High-Priced Boondoggle Dr. Phil Leveque Salem-News.com Phillip Leveque has spent his life as a Combat Infantryman, Physician Pharmacologist and Toxicologist. (MOLALLA, Ore.) - I was abjectly stunned and stupefied when I first read of Virtual Reality Therapy for PTSD Veteran victims. What it first suggested to me was that the VA Psychologists (and Social Workers) didn't have the slightest comprehension of who and what they were presumed to be treating. In the first place, the terms surrounding the definition of PTSD are ambiguities and arcane with battle fatigue, shells…

ptsd Ptsd C&p Question
Hello. My name is Mike and I am a 50% disabled vet for my Arm and back. I have a claim at the BVA that was remanded 3 years ago from them for PTSD and my ankle. I had surgery on the ankle 2 years ago as I could no longer wait on the VA to help me with it and I was lucky enough to find a good doctor whom was able to correct the ankle, and make the injury tolerable. I had a C&P on the ankle and I told the doctor there what was wrong and the fact that I had the surgery. He seemed to be leading me with questions as I have a nice scar and lack of feeling, and some awkward pain. The achilles tendon had been torn and resewed back together, and a bone tumor was removed on the…

ptsd Ptsd And Peb Then Va...
Not sure where to begin...I've just completed my second deployment to Iraq and during the process of Reverse SRP at Ft. Bragg was pulled for WTU (I never was medavac), and then later transferred to CBHCO-AL. I have had three operations - Bilateral Carpel Tunnel Release's, Right Ulnar Nerve Transposition. Also, I have chronic lower/mid back & neck pain (no operations performed at this time for these later injuries) and numbness & tingling to my lower extremities. After a month or so at home, my wife was afraid of the change in my behavior and forced me to contact my PCM. Thereafter, my PCM set in motion for me to see a Counselor (a civilian) then later a Psy…
