1. Question On H. Pylori

   This past week, I checked myself into the ER for extreme chest pain. Turns out, it was the stomach. Yesterday, the Doctor received my blood results and I have H. Pylori. This stomach issue has been something I have been dealing with for years. It just so happened to become unbearable and impossible to get sleep. My question, is H. Pylori tied in to GWI? If so, how do I proceed from here? 9 months ago, I did file a claim for GWI; memory loss, diarrhea, joint pain, stomach pains, sleep apnea, rashes. Any help is appreciated.

3. Gulf War And Kids

   First of all, I want to thank this site and all of You. It has great info. My question is about dandruff , my husband a Gulf War Vet developed it after He came from the War. He didn't have it before GW. Two of our kid got it too. We have tried several hair products and nothing works. I wonder if any of you know anything about skin conditions related to GW..... I have searched the internet and don't find much. My husband had a rash for a short period after he came back but then it dissapeared.

5. Service Officers

   Why is it that the service officers seem lost? I went in to give more evidence to support my claim and I was telling the guy what he needed to do with my claim what forms and what he needs is it time to find a new one or just go it on my own?

6. Arthritis And Ibs

   hello i have some posting elseware in the forum .just an update saw docter today ordered 20 vials of blood. i have ibs .diverticulitis(got that cut out in december) bad hip arthritis.right hip has been replaced left gets done in 2 moths. have alot of body tightness .lower back mid and upper back, shoulders . am 41 and have too much inflamation for someone my age . new docter is going to try and look at things as a whole .get blood done next week we will see

8. Ibs And Diverticulitis

   i am a gulf war veteran and recently had a foot of colon remove do to diverticulitis, my question is i had filled a claim for ibs that was denied do to lake of evidence . i had a hard time with my doctors once i told them i had filled a claim with the va . it changed from ibs to you know that most of america has stomach issues we can`t support the claim. anyway .haveing the diverticulitis does that give me enough to reopen the claim

9. Frustrations Of An Arkansas Gulf War Veteran Widow

   My husband died on 29 October 2011. A few days after his death i received in the mail an answer to his upgrade request which was "we have denied your request for upgrade on your back" . I had my son take me into the local veteran service officer and i requested to file an appeal of the decision. The service officer went ahead and filed the appeal HOWEVER when the regional office got it the service officer called me to tell me that "the claim died upon death of the veteran". He told me that he would send me the paperwork to file for DIC...He never not one time mentioned anything about substitiing myself for my husband. 10. Tired And Venting

    I have had a miriad of health issues. The latest has been sleep. Went to the civilian doctor and was referred to a sleep study. I have both central and obstructive sleep apnea. I have at least one episode per minute all night long. Accordingly, I have been prescribed a c-pap. I am thankful for that. The last thing that I want is to have a heart attack. I have been increasingly tired even after the c-pap. The doctor has diagnosed me with chronic fatigue syndrome. I am dragging butt all of the time, even if I nap. Funny thing is that I can't fall asleep, stay asleep, and am always tired. It is negatively impacting my life in every area. I don't have the energy or inclinatio…

11. Ibs Claim Due To Oif

    Has anyone done a successful claim i.e get compensated for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) a presumptive to SW Asia service? I went to OIF twice, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait and now I have IBS and wish I didn't this, it is a pain to live with but not even nearly as bad as other things discussed in the forums. I was wondering since this is a presumptive illness according to Gulf War/ OIF guidlines do all I need to do on the VBA 21-4138 is state what I have and I state it as a presumptive to my servcie in SW Asia?     I want to share my experience in helping with getting congressional support for GWI research funding and let everyone know that we need more GWV's in the fight to get funding for research. We also need more help in convincing Congress to hold hearings about the VA's blatant ignorance of research findings and possible treatments for GWI.
