  1. I can't even follow a GPS without getting lost. I can't even do this SSA crap anymore I hired an attorney to help. All I do is go to doctor appts and live life in my home. Since that RFC I was dx with a chronic AD bouts of depression and anxiety and sleep apnea life sucks all I want is help for my wife a kids I was also recently mad Permanent and totally disabled if that would help I have no idea just that decision in the mail today. I'll post it on Monday for you all to read this website has basically saved me from anxiety although still prevents me from sleeping most nights i had a recent Voc rehab assessment done where his opinion was I couldn't work as well and I shouldn't as the choices I make a times could hurt myself or others. Luckily the doctor gave me time for my meds to give some help in the decision/ judgement making that I she didn't call child services on me. I went to her for help I knew if I was honest what could happen to me and my family but I couldn't continue risking my family putting them in danger because the choices I made were not wise but I did them anyways. This is why the doctor said in November that i was a liability to all employers trying to find a sheltered is harder then you think and even when you do they can say no like American Airlines did and put me on medical hold for almost two months before I had to resign. But SSA disagrees apparently I should have just told them call my last employers I costed them roughly over a few hundred thousand dollars. One of the only reason I was hired is because I didn't mention my health problems and when i did with two of those jobs i was one put on med hold and two fired on the spot. Being able to follow two step instructions was the reason for denial. My doctors all disagree because I can follow auditory instructions without forgetting and when I read them I tend to skim and Miss important steps, especially safety notes. I hope that my P and T will help me in life now maybe I can't get SGA work but I hope to be able to get a job that will be ok with me missing months I was just approved for an inpatient rehab for my sTBI leaving this February coming up just before my birthday. In the mean time I was approved for 6 months of OT from the choice by the Wilmington VA for help in daily living not daily working just living. Having cashed out all my retirement and 401k has given me enough to get by but now I've screwed myself not being able to work.
  2. That fact you said you have to take time off from work would show the need for IU. But keeping a job is the same thing to me I tried for 6 years and then 8 jobs later i seeked help and when i requested help from my employer they put me on medical hold from working for life. Still considered employed but was on unpaid leave forcing me to resign which is when I applied for IU and I was only at 90% 70% was just for my sTBI. Your only robbing yourself if you don't seek treatment it's no being greedy.
  3. It's for my TBI residuals which was just made P and T. It's for my new claim for chronic adjustment disorder since the doctor separated my Mh issues and my TBI but SCed it. She said it could possibly just be a review of my last one in December. Which made me unemployability at the time if that's what they want to review that's fine since he stated I had no MH issues related to my TBI...all this anxiety had this bubble I feel I'm stuck in. I just got military ID for me and my wife and the decision for PT was mailed out today I just printed the update of ebenefits and that's all the base needed. Good to know I can do that but the first exam the doctor seperated my MH issues from my TBI and said it was SC can I withdraw it even though he SC the claim as a secondary issue? MAybe it will be a good thing the difference from the last time is I've been out of work this whole year. It's just seeing that a 2nd request was requested even though the one they sent me to was the 2nd request gets me all worked up after I just won the appeal for P and T she said it was a neurlogical review and was requested today she said call tomorrow see what happened. So much for. Sleeping...
  4. So should have guessed instead of seperating the issues like the doctor opined they are requesting another exam until the doctor gives something in their favor I'm sure. I called Peggy she said they are requesting another TBI review I said I just had one in December when they granted me IU he opined that i had not mental issues related to my TBI not to mention they made me Permanent and Total for my TBI residual with no future exams. I gues C&Ps for related to other claims aren't considered for my TBI?
  5. Agreed not that experienced with this issue did you read the regulations Brocovet posted. What evidence was cited by the doctor in this new opinion... anyone can hire an IMO and dispute this if he didn't have any evidence
  6. Exactly what Berta said no stressor no diagnosis more than one stressor gets easy to prove point. If you throw a TBI in the mix or if you have another Mh diagnosed issue already they may just tie it with that... more details please?
  7. I don't know how concerned you are about the time are you currently working. If not you could also look into recieving IU?
  8. Fraud is one way but I'm not as familiar of this happening or having happened I was just reading the law about 5 year rules I think broncovet posted search 5 year ratings protection see if it comes up sorry couldn't be more help.
  9. Depends if a hearing was requested and has to be scheduled I once had a hearing scheduled the day the pope visited philly obviously wasn't going to happen they then scheduled it the next. Month also sometimes the DRO can't answer your question and they submit question to general counsel there's a lot of what ifs but if it's an easy one issue no questions claim it can be decide fairly quickly if it's on his or her lap...
  10. Is this the whole report it was done under the general mental exam right what was the occupational report any problems? Maybe lowball at 10 my gues is 30 though... surprised nothing about occupational impairment was mentioned i see it could be maybe construed as being the same as independently but I'm. O expert but definately a secondary SC claim...
  11. And my other appeal is getting closer been with the VLJ date changed 3 times... not much longer since no hearing and my new claims in Prep for a decision
  12. So my P and T appeal just closed and was updated in ebenefits in the letters so I printed them dragged wife and kids to the local base all got new ID cards, still waiting on the packet in the mail. As for my other appeal it had now moved with the ALJ for the third time my last appeal was four times not to sure how many times they move it there? And my claim is in the Prep for a decision which I'm not sure how this will go since the doc seperated my Mental issues from my TBi. All this happened in One month, something has changed with the new VA Secretary not complaining... Both my remaining claims have a suspense date for next month so who knows " Anything can happen"...
  13. Call this number (202) 530-9470 explain your issue they will help you submit an inquiry into your RO most likely to see if was their error or an error of miscalculations that you may have made... not saying you did I had the same issue where I was about 20k short of my last retro and it was their mistake that's the number I called to contact the Philly RO to get the answers to fix my retro. Your case it could be a simple as attorney fees not sure the details just shotting blanks it's all I was given...
  14. Good luck and to infinity and beyond!!! Joking aside it sounded like it well good luck
  15. That's BS sell it to someone else i went for a C&P for my tinnitus and he said my hearing was bad but at my entrance exam in the marines was the bad as well we came up with I had an ear infection that day and he showed me how three years later how it was better and then bad again after 5 years as a sheet metal airframes on 53s. He opined I was exposed to daily loud noises such as rivet hammers and air tools which caused my tinnitus. As an aircraft mechanic easy to find examples of loud exposures, So if I had to guess if your MOS had you exposed to loud daily noises what was your billet? Can you find some examples to show yes you were exposed? Really any billet has some form of loud noises you just have to look back and see what they maybe... Give more details of your Mos even the administrative guys working at the desks eventually deployed with us and rode in c-130s which are extremely loud with no hearing protection provided.
  16. And also SMC S guys thanks and that was only one dependant just hit his SSN two days ago
  17. permanent total paperwork from ebenefits was enough to get my new ID card still awaiting the packet in the Snail mail? My new claim has me worried but I'm assuming since my TBI is permanent and total with no future exams is that it can't be lowered? The woman said my new claim seperated my mental Health and TBI issues and said I don't know what the raters can do they can do whatever..... No amount of anything will bring my memory issues rated under 8045 down below 70% But is my memory a mental issue which would keep me from ever working again like PTSD?

Crap this was a success story can someone change this? I'm an idiot sorry
  19. I'm on the same boat its like that stupid magic eightball of VA ratings
  20. Even my contractor exams only take at the most two weeks to process the examiner has it submitted back the day off or the next day at the latest if you have an attorney he can always get you a copy. Or as I found out you can go to the RO in person and they gave me a copy of my contracted C&P on the spot?
  21. Well I look forward to the attempt because all the drugs they tried failed being up 3 days in a row sucks when your mind is racing not much to do in the wee hours... thanks for the heads up now I'm looking forward said it would take 2 weeks
  22. This probably could have helped me out to know this sooner instead of being dx with insomnia now there are saying a tested positive for sleep apnea. Are these related? I know nothing of what this is other then usually you snore is a sign. The doctor said in two weeks their coming out here to put in a cpap machine and to fit test me. just when I think I'm done filing something else pops up.... Life

  24. I have just been made P and T back dated on Nov 2016. Since they weren't around I had to use Obamacare for the family and wife had our child this May.
