Congrats on the win I was in the same boat on my last win but the DRO didn't go with my VA form 9 so I am in wait and see on that appeal. Keep taking it one day at a time. Take the spouse on a vacation and I look forward to more positive news from you soon

I was able to get my OPM Disability approved but it was a headache seeing how the Dept of Homeland didn't want to allow me to medically retire but once you file with FERS your medical documentation will speak where others can not. Good Luck my friend

Happy New Years Everyone. I have been away getting my mind right and focused on two upcoming surgeries sorry I haven't been on. I am still dealing with the VA but I am using the eBenefits system to just monitor the situation and now allow it to stress me any further. I have been so happy to read of everyone's success with so much positive adjudication and for those still waiting keep your heads up and know that you are not forgotten. Again Happy New Years Family

@ infantry10 Just remember you aren't alone in this journey. I know it's hard at times and overwhelming but hang in there. I have a couple surgeries coming up before the year ends it really puts things in perspective that's for sure. If you need more just shoot me a PM. They for some reason had already moved my contention to the BVA in D.C. but I think it has something to do with the particulars of my claim (Lost Claim 3 Years) at least this is what the V.F.W VSO shows in their system. Nevertheless it will be what it will be now. It's out of my hands and I am thankful and blessed as a result. Have a great day.

So I've submitted my one contention and it's already at the BVA on appeals ( filed within 60 days) and I've filed for my EED - early effective date on the award last granted at the VFW. So now I am back in hurry up in wait mode but I am going to finish up by the end of the year and leave the rest to the VA Gods. I have read and re read this post several times and I still find the advise in here wonderful. I pray you all are doing well and thanks for the PM's guys. I'll be on the board every day moving forward.
