Had A Dro Hearing December 2010, Then A C&p Exam For Left Knee January 2012
Orinal claim filed, 2009, Had a dro hearing december 2010 (San Diego), then a C&P exam for left knee January 2012. I am wondering, does this mean they are getting close to making a decison on some issues if they ordered a new c&p exam. They denied my 6 issues, in 2009, but I had a dro hearing after all the denials, and only got a SOC on 3 out of 6 issues January 2011. Then a couple years later they decide to do a c&p again. Does this mean they are close to getitng my dro hearing decision and are moving on with the claim after all this time? or will it sit for another year? or more... The knee, while it can leave me without the ability to walk if I walk mor…

Going To Waco
Wanted to know if I need to make an appointment to visit my RO to discuss my claim, or if that is even possible. No body knows what is going on with my claim. Put in an Inquiry Jan 10, and no response. Original claim date (Jun 5, 2010), EBenefits says waiting on info from me (status since Sep 2011), 1-800 number says all information has been gathered and is waiting to go to rater (status since Nov 2011), and my lawyer (last contact August 2011) says he was negotating with a rater viewing my claim that would mean the increase that we are looking for and once approved we could drop the appeal. Will driving to Waco get me an honest answer on where my claim is?

A&a
Yesterday while visiting my social worker I found out that VA pharmacy has to fill prescriptions written by outside Doc. Simply write on the script A + A and turn it in. It has to be in the VAMCnd had it fixed. Also they are supposed to provide a homemaker benefit that pays for someone to come in do your laundry make up beds and prepare meals. I did not know about this

Medical Records
I recently filed a claim for IHD and have questions about obtaining copies of my medical records. I am assuming the VA will request and obtain those medical records however I would like to have those copies for my own perusal. The hospital/cardiologist charges 50 cents per page if I request them. This could be a tidy sum considering it covers a span of about 10 years. Should I wait and let the VA request them or can anyone tell me other options? Thanks

I thought we got a raise in compensation payments this year? I am still receiving the same amount that I got last year. I thought the new rates were effective December 2011. Can someone explain?
