Where can I find instructions for Physicians doing C&P exams, like benefit of the doubt or finding service connectedness
I am in the 8th year of a very legit toxic claim. Exposures admitted. Finally more exams are coming. I would like to find the instructions given to doctors doing such exams. I hope there are instructions like "if the diagnosis is recognized by a respected minority of physicians you can't disallow just because you disagree" (standard rule in medical litigation) also instructions with how they are to deal with benefit of doubt re: occurrence etc. I can't find on Internet.

Help with C&P undoubtedly upcoming again
Hello everyone, newbie here. So, I filed my claim on 10/25/20 and listed PTSD, Hearing, and Sleep Apnea. To make a long story short, last week I was rated 10% tinnitus, 0% sleep apnea, and PTSD "deferred". Interestingly, the VSR added "high blood pressure" as a disability only to deny it two days later once a decision was made on the hearing and sleep apnea. Has that happend to anyone else? Also, I have researched "deferred" a little and since my claim has now went back to reviewing evidence the past few days to now gathering evidence today, can I assume another C&P exam is coming my way? Also, my Dr. wrote an incredible nexus letter and rebuttal letter …

CRSC question and amended tax returns
I retired from the Army active duty in 2013 with 25 years and various combat deployments. I found out that I was 90 percent CRSC and 90 percent from the VA for disability. I got my CRSC letter from HRC and got my letter from DFAS about CRSC in 2018. I am wondering since I have been getting CRDP from the VA can I amend 4 years of my last tax returns if I could have gotten CRSC instead of the CRDP I got from the VA since CRSC would have reduced my taxable income? Thanks for any help!

C&P Exam
Are C&P exams always ordered? At what point are they ordered? I filed an appeal to the board Dec 2019, AMA, evidence. Still waiting for it to be assigned to a judge. I submitted a nexus letter from my VA psy doc at the time of filing appeal. Are C&P exams always ordered? Or will they bypass since both my VA psy docs have nexus stated in file, plus the letter from one? Thank you. Gene

Should I cancel one of the claims I need advice quick..thanks
HI, Okay quick question and I hope I get some quick advice before its too late. Okay so I put in for an increase in my husband's ihd, and his lungs because he's had terrible residuals since he had radiation for lung cancer. We applied for the caregiver program and was approved but the lady told me that his 100% for his lungs was temporary (which I knew) and that I should be trying to get him increased or made P&T so that his overall average would never go below 70%. So I put it in. Well the rep at the VA went in and said that he was Permanent and Total...yay. So I thought they were done because I saw the notice saying a decision letter was being mailed. How…

Yolo
I had another C&P exam today. I've been fighting for over 10 years now trying to get my VA disability for my Mental Illness. There's times where I've given up tired of fighting but the past 4 years I've continued to fight. At first I did a Higher review it was remanded back to the original office where I was scheduled a C&P exam much to my surprise she said it wasn't Service connected after a 45 minute visit that was last year (mind you I have been receiving psychiatric treatment since I was released from the military in 1995) so I decided this time to go to the next level and filed for the review from a Judge 14 months later I get the letter it's been remanded ag…

Did you get a bogus C & P exam?
I have posted this info here many times but it I almost impossible to find under a search- If you get a bogus C & P exam, you can request a better exam. By "Bogus" I mean: Was the examiner, when you googled their name, not qualified to do the type of exam you got? For example a male vet here with a leg disability- maybe PAD, got a negative C & P exam done by a Gynecologist. A few years ago I got a C & P exam ,I think regarding my husband's HBP. and the examiner stated it was an "in person" exam. By then my husband had been dead for over 20 years. The issue was resolved under CUE, because of other evidence.Claim denied, three weeks late…

C&P Exam at VA
I looked around on here and didn't see an answer (or I missed it) but hopefully someone can answer. I had a C&P at my local VA last Wednesday and was curious to if I can pull a copy of the Dr's notes from that exam from the VA site (Blue Button Report or somewhere else). I'd like to know what he wrote about the exam and try to get an idea of what he said. Thank you!

QTC Exams on Blue Button
I remember other QTC exams being uploaded to Blue Button, but cannot remember where they are located in the reports. Does anyone have any info on where they are located within the medical record available on Blue Button?

C&P FOR PTSD - Weird experience - Please help
Hello everyone, I hope this finds you all well. So, quick background.. I was ADMIN Separated from the military, all while going through a MEDBOARD. I was send to a Medboard for PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Inguinal nerve damage.. years of medical history showing these injuries. My lawyer during this process stated that the Military found me fit because I was going through a ADMIN separation. All my doctors wrote letters to the board stating that all diagnosis were current. The Board came back to state that they did not believe my doctors and stated that my actions were for secondary gains. It was obvious, as per my lawyers, that the board was not fond of …

"QTC" ACE follow up exam?
Received a letter from a company called QTC, which I found to be strange since I am rated at 100%. Called the company and asked them questions and they stated that they are a 3rd party agency hired by the VA. The case officer informed me that I have a claim under the VA but the fact is that I don't have any claims active once I was rated at 100% I stopped. So I was under the impression that this company was either a scam/fraud or something. Normally the VA contacts you directly, but? Called the VA to confirm this "QTC" company, and the VA informed me that my TBI injury is not a permanent rating so therefore follow up exams can be issued to see if symptoms have im…
