bad letter please help.
ok so this letter states, do to your current ongoing appeal issues it has been determined that your claim for increase is premature. we will not be able to to adjudicate this claim until the appeal has been finished. ok seems like it would make sense. BUT, the claimed issues are for an increase. the increase is do to the BVA issuing a grant of service connection for then stated that is far as they can go they can not rate. the increase is do to the fact that the RO granted only 10% and i believe it should be higher as of august 2017 but gave me EED of 2009. they recieved my claim for increase in march of 2018 then sent me to a C + P this mont…

Nod, SOC and form 9 done - resulted in C&P
I am 60% for neurogenic bladder, 10% for tinnitus. I'm a C3 Quad ASIA C due to a pre-existing condition of narrow cervical spinal canal. First attempt for spine connection failed. Requested De Novo Review..same results. Filed NOD and Form 9. Then sent in a great IMO from a very reputable specialist. This, along with a letter from my VA SCI physician seems to have triggered a C&P exam for neck and back. The exact services ordered were: DBQ MUSC Neck (Cervical Spine)(1), DBQ MUSC Back (Thoracolumbar Spine)(1), DBQ Medical Opinion - MED: MUSC Back (Thoracolumbar Spine)(1), Med - Medical Records/Cfile Review - FILL FIRST (1), CPT 99205 - Level 5 E/M, new pati…

Question about Effective Dates
I am recently discharged veteran who got out of active duty on June 27, 2017. I started the process for disability while still on active duty and was awarded 90% combined disability rating in October but due to me receiving separation's pay i did not start receiving payments till Jan of this year. During that time I spoke to a VSO and was told to appeal the decision because my notes from C P Exam were more in line with a higher rating. The only problem is I didn't know what I was doing and I submitted it as a new claim instead of appealing the original one. I was awarded the 100% rating for generalized anxiety disorder and persistent depressive disorder with sleep impairm…

Just called BVA and they said my case was just moved to a judge
I just called the board of veterans appeals in DC and after years of waiting and appeal after appeal, they told me that my case has been put in front of a judge to decide my case as of last week tuesday. So my question to you is how long does it usually take for a Judge to make a decision on a case.....am I looking at the scope of a month? or more years here? I am 70% Combined already 30% for kidneys, and 50% PTSD, and 10% hypertension. I am 100% SSDI as well since 2009 and they stated it was because of PTSD I have not been able to work since then. The VA has a wealth of information and evidence stating all my issues. My original file for TDUI on this file goes all the w…

Partial award granted on appeal
I am new to the forum, but was hoping to get some help with a question i have. I was awarded 30% for PTSD back in 2013. Within 60 days i appealed the decision, as i felt it was wrong. It took until May 2017 for them to schedule me a re examination. They bumped me from 30% to 70%, but changed my effective sate to the day of the exam. When i spoke to my VSO they said i should drop the appeal since i "got what i wanted". I decided against that and continued the appeal process. Well finally another year later i have an in person hearing. Has anyone dealt with this before?

BVA Question
I just looked at my appeal status on Vets.gov and it says: "The Veterans Benefits Administration agreed with you and decided to overturn the original decision. Say what, what does this mean? I haven't even had a hearing yet and have four combined appeals with 12 to 14 issues, waiting to be seen by the BVA.

No decision Letter yet......
I looked at my eBenefits Historical Claims today and it showed that my sinus compensation was increased and closed on 3/29. Retro showed up and deposited April 4, and there's a Letter under Benefits Verification stating the new pay rate, but still no official decision letter from VARO. Does it normally take this long (18 days) after a claim has been closed?
