  1. Congrats to both of you! Great News! What a NICE Christmas gift from VA!
  2. Congrats!!! What a NICE Christmas gift from the VA!
  3. Again Congrats! IMHO......I would have the bank number on speed dial........to me sounds like your going to have a great christmas! Those funds will hit LONG before you get your decision letter from VA! But once you get your award notice, ensure that it states no future examinations for P&T! Best of Luck! B6
  4. Great news to see that YOU got your claim going again! Best of Luck! God Bless! B6
  5. Great News Hedgey! Now Relax and smell the roses! God Bless! B6
  6. Yes. This is when "they" (VA) will schedule the C&P exam because they see that one was not given for the claim. The VA wants to have their doctors look at your claim before they render a decision! Best of Luck! B6
  7. IMHO........The statement from the Voc Rehab Counselor would put you over the top in getting granted TDIU. I was in a similar situation I had a VRC come to my house for an ILS assessment and wrote a letter stating that I was not feasible for employment! The next week I was approved for TDIU! Best of Luck! B6
  8. Labguy.......have you went to your Release of Information office and requested a copy of the C&P exams? You may or may not be able to get the C&P results for PTSD exam! Waiting times for the VA to process claims are extremely long, in most cases. For those other issues that you are claiming, once the rater see that you are claiming xxxx, and see that no C&P was performed, they will schedule the C&P for you. This has happened to me a few times in the past year! Best of Luck! B6 EDIT: Spelling~
  9. THAT IS A VERY GOOD SIGN! Best of Luck! God Bless! B6
  10. Great Explanation Larry! This statement should be PINNED for those unsure about working in the present or future! B6
  11. IMHO.......this is why there is a backlog of claims! Geeeze, when will the madness stop! B6
  12. I would wait a few days and go to the Release of Information Office and get a copy of the C&P, then post what the Dr. stated in the C&P results! B6
  13. I'm in the same boat as Pete! I've been trying for months to use Ebenefits with no success. I've basically given up on using it at this point! B6
  14. I now understand the let-down of not facing those (SSA) that said that I WASN'T disabled from SSA! Although, I'm TOTALLY relieved that I was found Fully Favorable......I wanted my day in Court! Now, I'm just a name on a piece of paper with no face.....with no feelings, no nothing.........I WANTED MY DAY IN COURT! Sorry to ramble, but I'm still having an emotional let-down.........but I perk right back up when I call my bank account! Now.....I finally know what "they" were talking about! God Bless Hadit.com........as it's has helped my family in more ways that I can even explain! Cheers! B6
  15. Bonzai.....keep up the fight as I know you will! I will pray for you that all will work out for you and those still fighting to get the benefits they deserve! God Bless Ya! B6
  16. Deacon......what a powerful story! I'm very happy for you! I'm glad to see that you will be able to see your son and wife! I know it's been tough......but you have made it! Nothing but the best for you in the future! Side note......I actually got watery eyes reading your post! God Bless you! B6
  17. I was awarded SSDI on November 5th! The way we found out was my wife call the bank to check our account balance! Well the balance was HUGE thus I call my attorney to ask if I had been approved! The deposit was from SSA.......I rec'd the deposit before I rec'd the award notice! Anyways, its a GOOD DAY! I was awarded SSDI without going to the ALJ........I was getting scheduled for a hearing but I rec'd an ON THE RECORD Decision! My EVIDENCE was iron-clad! WOOOHOOOO! For those still fighting..........don't give up! That's what they want you to do! God Bless you all! B6
  18. TDIU first, March 2010 after my second denial from SSDI. Needless to say, I'm currently awaiting for the ALJ to schedule my hearing!
  19. Since you are 10% SC for your back......I would recommend that you start getting treatment from the VA to document your case, nevertheless, to get some pain relief. Are you currently being seen by the VA on a regular basis for your back? If not, why not? It's crucial to have medical evidence about your condition as you will have to have it, to file for an increase now and later on............just sayin! Good Luck!

  21. Congrats! That was fast for getting awarded TDIU! I thought the 7 months for myself was quick but 5 is insane! Great job! IMHO, if you are well-documented in your medical evidence then how could VA deny you! But we all know the pit-falls of the VA and luck of the draw when it comes to the rater you are given to review your claim.........I'm a firm believer that getting the right rater to review your claim is key.......I've been lucky thus far! Good Luck to those still fighting with the VA........keep up the good fight.......don't settle for NO! You deserve the benefits, fight the VA to the end! B6
  22. Pete.....I hope you had a wonderful night with your children and grand-babies......cheers! As far as the flu shot at a grocery store......I'll pass on that, but for each their own! I would prefer to have it in a medical environment.....jmo!
  23. Congrats to E and you..........relax and enjoy!
