ptsd Review Exams
I just had a PTSD review exam in OCT and I recently received a letter that I am up for a review OCT2010. My question is, I had my initial exam in Sept2008, review Oct2009 and now have another review Oct2010...does this mean that I will have one every year until they can reduce my rating from 100% or is it just standard practice to have these every year?

Seeking To Add Pulmonary Conditions To The Higher Smc Rating Criteria
VA SMC criteria is designed to assist Veterans with severe disabilities such as loss of use for limbs, and other bodily organs. Currently there are no SMC levels for veterans with Pulmonary problems such as loss of use of a Lung by innervation. Is there anything wrong with this picture. I know folks who cant breathe would cut off a limb is they could get a working lung in return. Any suggestions on this issue>. J

Irs Form Question
Hello all, first let me begin by stating that this message might be in the incorrect forum but I was unable to locate the proper forum to post my problem. I was medically retired after being diagnosed with MS in Jan 2008, I received retirement payments totalling around 4,000 until my VA compensation kicked in and received a form saying that I was not responsible for taxes on my retirement becuase my VA comp was more than my retirement. I filled my taxes and sent the form to the IRS in Feb of 2009. I received a letter yesterday stating I owe back taxes on this amount and the IRS made no mention of my form I sent in. I know this board is full of knowledgable personal and wo…

tdiu Gen'l Medical Examination
I filed a claim for TDIU in Nov/09. 2 weeks ago I had a C&P called General Medical Examination given by a nurse practitioner. From her workpapers she asked numerous questions. Some qusetions were incorrectly noted on the progress notes. Should I correct them and make a copy and give it to the VARO to put in my c-file? The other 2 C&P's and my IMO were in my favor. Should I bother with this C&P since I have 3 positive opinion for my TDIU claim? babyray

Lumbar Deg. Disc Secondary/aggrav Of Cervical Disc
I found many articles on degenerative disc conditions. However, I am looking for medical reference source noting that a lumbar degenerative disc condition can cause/aggravate secondary cervical disc condition. *Some thing that ties the two together. There are many BVA decisions concerning spinal conditions. The specific nexus/tie in/aggravate/one can cause or develope into the other is what I am interested in. I am interested in professional medical articles that support this--more so than BVA. (Of course I will obtain medical opinion). I appreciate your experience or input concerning either source. Thank you!
