Treament For Nhl
I am presently 40 % diabled for hiatal hernia and spinal stenosis. On June 2003 the VA diagnosed that I had Non-hodgkins Lymphoma. I received treatmant for over two years by way of Chemotherapy. I found out latter that I was entitled to submit a claim for hebicide exposure (AO); Oncologist states the NHL was more likely than not to be the cause by Agent Orange. as a side note I was not stationed in Vietnam but in Thailand on the Mekong river acrossfrom Laos. I did my research along with two lawyers to prove Direct Service Conection. Case has been before the CAVC once and is now there for the scond time. Despite the hampster action by the VA I would like …

Final Z Gram
Having served under Admiral Zumwalt, he was famous for his "Z-grams". There wont be any more Z grams, but "Z" has left his legacy. Hopefully, it will be good for AO victims. Read the story. http://vnvets.blogspot.com/2010/01/all-han...Yahoo!+Mail

Help I've Never Heard Of This One Before
:P I called today my rep who has been tracking my clain in for about 5 months now for what started out to be a increase in the left knee from 10% to whatever due to lose of motion due to three seperat surgries and convelance for both the last knee surgery and the spinal fusion. Simple claim I thought, Now my rep calls today and said that my claim had been sent to Nashville Tenn. to quality control outside of region. She stated she had never delt with this one and would get back to me but it looked like it could take up to two more months before they even get it back to the arkansas rating officer. Any one ever delt with this before.

Copy Of C&p Exam
I just had a C&P Monday with two more coming up next week. I know this has been answered many times that a C&P exam copy can be obtained at the VAMC. I called the VA clinic to see if I could obtain a copy of the C&P exam and I was told that I had to request the copy from the Houston regional office and that it might take up to six weeks or more to get them. My question is ,does it matter what type of C&P exams copies are available without having to request them from the regional office? Or was I misinformed by the VA clinic? Thanks. 68mustang

Philpott Article On New Ao
John Miterko of the VVA reflects here the possibility that -as I feared-that VA could provide a limiting criteria for IHD claims. http://www.military.com/features/0,15240,208380,00.html Would that be possible? Can IHD be solely attributed to cigarette smoking or to obesity and then denied even if the vet was exposed to AO? Does this mean vets will surely need to incur the expense of IMOs if the VA tries to deny AO IHD solely on these bases? I heard you guys all had smokes in your C rats – as Gov issue in Vietnam.SO much for that etiology. The FR still doesnt have the regs yet. BTW-I was just sent email pdf from Ge…

ptsd Harm To Self
The other day I was looking at the VA web-site for PTSD, and a segment really caught my attention, "harm to Self". Under harm to self there was a category "eating disorders". I just thought this was interesting. Has anyone filed a claim useing this as a basis? I never had a eating problem until I got back from Vietnam, and have been on every diet, diet pill, therapy, weight loss surgery known to mankind, but can not break the habit. Papa
