tdiu Tdiu / Voc.rehab
Hello folks, have a question, and would appreciate some feedback..Have a letter from Corrd.Voc. Rehab Services,Bay Pines VAMC, Fl. that states in part, " is not eligible for services at this time, due to his current medical condition, depression, and the effects of medications he is currently taking. We may explore future services at a later date. Will this letter be key, at least very helpful, in my claim for TDIU?? and will my past Earnings Statement from Social Security be important as well?? Will they consider the fact, that i have only earned over the Poverty Line, 3 out of the past 30 years since leaving the military.. Regards, William n

tdiu Will Va Direct Deposit A Big Retro Pay?
I was approved for TDIU and I am receiving a large retro pay. I got an email saying that my retro check will be issued Feb 21st. Does this mean they will direct deposit it or mail a check since it is a large amount? And if Direct Deposit does that mean it will be in my account on Feb 21st or probably a few days after? Thanks

tdiu Appeals Council Hearing/ Reviewing Ssdi
Well ok I first filed a SSDI claim March 2004 and said I became disabled Jan. 2002. That claim was denied and went to ALJ hearing Sept. 2005. The ALJ Judge denied me. I appealed to Appeals Council but also filed a second claim Nov. 2005. On the second claim I was awarded Disability by the AlJ Judge and agreed to an onset date of Sept. 2005. Now my first claim is being worked by Appeals Council. They are prepared to vacate the ALJs decisions of Nov. 2006(denied) and Sept. 2007(awarded), consolidate the claims, and remand the case to an New Administrative Law Judge for further proceedings, including a new decision about what onset date to use. What are the chances of me lo…

Filed For Ssdi And Have A Question?
Hi All, I filed for SSDI in December with my attorney and I received a call from the Social Security office. The guy verified my income and said that was all he needed and that he would be sending it for Medical Review. Does anyone know what exactly that means "Sent my file for Medical Review"? Any feedback would be great. Cherie33

ptsd 80% Tdiu, Turned Down By Ssdi, What To Do Now?
Well, I was turned down this week by SSDI. Interesting decision letter, as they state the evidence they used in the decision as my medical records that I provided for them from the VA. Not quite sure how they came to their conclusions as I tried to make it easy on them. Had even provided copies of the letter and evidence from the Regional Office Vocational Rehab program turning me down for enrollment for education or work, because according to my VA doctors I was "unable to work". So not only was I receiving the TDIU, I also had applied and been turned down from the Voc Rehab. Also had Functional Ability reports that were used in that decision by my Primary Care …

Letter About "temporary Password Request Code"
My husband received a letter from the local SSA office that gives him a temporary password request code. Does this mean that he was awarded his disability? He hasn't been told anything yet, but it's been five months since he applied, so we're wondering if this is good news, or if everyone gets this letter while the application is pending. The letter goes on to state "If you are a new beneficiary, please make sure you have received your notice of benefit payment or your first payment before you try to register a password."
