Establishing Evidence For Future Claim
I hope my question makes sense and is in the correct place. I have a question on evidence and the value of establishing a trail for a potential future claim. My son is in the Air Force Reserve and has been for around 25 years, he has served two tours in Iraq and is about to begin a tour in Afghanistan. When he is not on active status, his day job is the same as his Reserve job, he is an F-16 mechanic. He has four areas of concern, bad lower back, neck problems, numbness to left hand, and Tinnitus. He has been to a civilian Doctor about the lower back and was diagnosed with a torn muscle, which he was treated for. The question is one of SC, how would he show evidence…

Va Compenstation Question
Hello Everyone My name is Eric and I'm new to the site and so far from reading this it is really a wealth of knowledge. I was talking to my sister on the way to work this morning and she told me to come to this site and post my question and get an opinion from people who have been through it and can probably give you an answer really quick. I filed for VA compensation on January 18th of this year and I had a claim in for my back and my appendectomy scar because of the pain that I have. Everything went through and I went to my C&P exam on the 27th of August and I received a letter in the mail from the VA about 2 weeks ago stating that I rated 10% for my appendectom…

Anyone Wonder Abt Mechanics And The Brake Dust We Inhaled
I believe that the old trucks we worked on, like the duece and a half, 5 ton, HET , ect, had asbestos brake linings. I worked on ALOT of breaks im my 5.5 years in the army. we never were issued any breathing appratus, never hosed the pads down before working on them, no precautions really. I wonder how many soldiers have asbestos in thier lungs, that will turn cancerous in thier lives. (asbestos particles stay trapped in the lungs, and u get asbestosis).

This Obscure Rule Bars Gay And Lesbian Military Veterans From Benefits
"This Obscure Rule Bars Gay and Lesbian Military Veterans From Benefits Despite the death of DOMA, the rule could mean a fight for military veteran couples who want federal benefits. August 28, 2013 The Supreme Court may have recently struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, seemingly clearing the way for federal recognition of gay and lesbian marriages, but the battle for marriage equality on the federal level rages on—particularly in the military. According to an August 14, letter from Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki, obtained by the Washington Blade, gay and lesbian military veteran married couples are not eligible to receive federal marriage benefits…

14 Year Veteran In Need Of Help
To Whom This May Concern, I currently have a pending compensation claim at the VA. I submitted my claim back in November 2012 and the only correspondence I have received is a letter every three months stating the VA is still working to try and resolve my claim. I am writing today because I am in a need of help. I served my country Honorable for almost fourteen years. I have completed three combat tours of duty in Iraq, earning the Combat Action Ribbon, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and Navy Commendation during those deployment periods. During my last enlistment in 2008 after coming back from deployment I was involved in a terrible accident which resulted in me …
