Temp to perm
He everyone, I have a question, how likely am I to be able to keep my 100% va compensation. I was diagnosed with MDD in 2014 and am receiving 100% temp until my next exam in 2019. I've heard that having a certain rating for five years or more that they can not decrease your rating, or if they do after the exam they can't go lower than my prior rating that was 80%. How accurate is this? Thanks in advance.

diabetes Experience with C&P Exam
I have got to post that a recent C&P Exam at the Washington DC VA Medical Center was absolutely delightful ! Not what I was anticipating! Took my brother in for Diabetes Type II (presumptive for Vietnam / Agent Orange Exposure) C&P exam . First the doctor called at 8 am and said he wasn't busy - come on in anytime. Waited 2 minutes in the lobby and then he allowed me to accompany my brother back. Asked a few questions and even said, "if he gets any heart issues to be sure to file another claim". Wow. Now we had just had a physical performed by his VA primary care physician a few days earlier and blood tests were back for high A1C, and his primary had n…

C&P Exam Reports=copies
you can get a copy of your C&P report off Myhealthyvet Notes if the C&P was performed at your VAMC,ok we all know that... Then why is it that if your C&P is performed by a VA Contractor such as QTC, then why can't we get that report from myhealthvet? this is holding medical information from the veteran and should not be legal b/c the VBA (Veterans Benefit Admin) will have that report and they should scan it into the VA computer system but yet they hold this contractor C&P Report as to which a 75% of veteran don't know this or they could go to the VBA Office and ask for that C&P Report.. so why don't they VBA scan the report to Myhealthyvet …

C&P Exam Question
Can a C&P examiner opinion on a IME/IMO opinions? It seems, I recall seeing this was a no-no. Also, I have a formal hearing coming up on a NOD to the appeals board, I think I can request this hearing to be informal at the hearing opening. Any help. My DRO hearing was informal and still recorded. I think the informal hearing allows for a little more leeway in presenting the evidence. Thanks to all.

Does this mean I will have an ENT CP ordered?
I had a CP for my vertigo secondary to my migraines. The neuro was awful but well that is another drama to fight. She did state that I had symptoms that could be attributed to Menieres or another vestibular disorder. Later in the notes, there is mention of a DBQ from an ENT. Does this mean that they are going to send me to an ENT for further exam, it is not really clear to me honestly.

compensation and pension exams
I posted this to and old thread and trying to get some thoughts for my friend.Well, He is still waiting. (gathering ev). 1 1st doctor= suggest that it is service connected. Military doctor 2 2nd doctor= less likely than not. VA C AND P EXAM. 3 3rd doctor= at least as likely as not. VA MENTAL HEATH.C AND P EXAM. rater then sends back for another opinion. 4 4th doctor=opines that doctors 1 and 3 are speculating base on no records and no basis for opinion and currently remains in gathering evidence stage for six weeks. Anybody have any thoughts?

ptsd Nearly 3 Hour PTSD C&P Exam
Little History: This was my second C&P Exam. The first one granted me 30% about 2 years ago. That exam was only like 20 minutes so this one caught me off guard. I have been getting worse the past year. I got time on the street from my job for about 5 days to recover from a panic attack I had at work. I get into fights with coworkers so now I work in a tower by myself away from everyone and about a month ago, I nearly committed suicide. I had called the suicide hotline and made an appointment with the Mental Health and now I am doing weekly group therapy, monthly individual therapy and they have me on a couple different medications for the panic attacks and anxiety. I…

degenerative arthritis a little help here Please
I went in for an increase of my back, left knee and left hip. I was seen by a overly nice female examiner that turns out to be a nurse practitioner and the outcome of this c&p was shocking to say the least! When we got done talking for a least a half an hour she said "oh this is only for an increase so lets take a look at your back. She never used a geinommeter or any device to measure my ROM but said to turn around and face the chair and bend over which I did to approx. 30 degree range and she said OK that's all we need. The next couple of days i read this on e-benefits Is this DBQ being completed in conjunction with a VA 21-2507, C&P Examination Reque…

C & P Exam outsourced - How to get results
I had a C & P done recently., which was outsourced and not done at a VA facility. When I called the toll free number, they told me that I need to make a written FOIA request. They also said that the results of the exam have already been uploaded. I would like to get my copy of the results as soon as possible and would drive down to the St. Petersburg Office to get them, but I am not getting any results trying to find out where the Release of Information Office is in St. Petersburg. Your thoughts are appreciated. Thank you.
