I filed my claim Jan 2011, first C&P was July 2011, second (which was my last C&P) was Nov 2011. It was for Ptsd and Mdd and was r'cd back at Varo (Houston) on Dec 5 and claim went to Preparation for decision/Rater on Dec 14, 2011. I have 7 contentions and Tdiu. The waiting is miserable for everyone unfortunately...but hang in there :) -

Well they do in my part of the world here in military friendly deep east Texas! I got BIG discount on Rotella 15/40 oil when I owned my freightliner. It took 44 quarts (11 gal) to change.

I had my last C&P exam on Nov 1, 2011. It was received back at Houston Varo Dec 5, 2011. Went to decision phase/rater on Dec 14, 2011. And on Mar 1, 2012 will will be 4 months and waiting since last exam. I have little patience left as I filed my claim on Jan 23, 2011.......My hobbies are getting redundant and boring. I guess I could head to Houston to the National Livestock Show and Rodeo. Yeehaw! Only in Texas. Gotta luv it! -
It seems based on all this evidence that a lot of the discharges and character of service could be changed.

A very good article my friend! Remember what I said about these commander's relationship (friendship) with these doctors? Often times in the military a soldier will be "chaptered" out based solely upon a commander's recommendation.

Hi, fellow Texan! I also have a claim with Houston Varo Feb 23 (tomorrow) will be 13 months. I am taking Carlie's advice to wait it out........VERY good advice I might add! Hint... Like 71M10 said, they have a tendency to not put the file back in the same place. Good Luck!
