  1. Congrats Joluby! Don't forget to update your %. Based on your retro, I'm guessing it took you 15 months for decision? Also which Varo had your claim?
  2. yeah, typo....I caught it.. Need my java this am. Lol
  3. I filed my claim on 1/23/11 and it went to Preparation For Decision on 12/14/11. Other than being "stalled" in this phase, there has been some sort of "activity". My claim file was either scanned, signed for or handled for whatever reason on 1/25/12, in Feb, and also on 3/1/12 and 3/30/12. Has anyone had a similar experience with their claim prior to claim determination?
  4. Thanks for the info Pete. I spoke to "Peggy" this morning and he said there was "activity" with my claim on March 30 (friday). I hope these next couple of weeks brings good news.
  5. @Papa... After prep for decision you have the last phase which is Notification. I filed my claim 1/23/2011. When I said "How much longer" I am "thinking out loud". Yeah, my Vso also sent them an email on Thursday.
  6. My claim went to the Preparation for Decision phase on 12/14/2011 and has not moved. On 3/12/2012, I sent an Iris and no reply from it so I sent another one. Varo is Houston ( backlogged). According to my vso, my claim is to be finalized this week unless they put " hardship" claims ahead of mine? How much longer???
  7. With the letters it seems legit, but you'll know for sure when the brown envelope arrives. Here's an early "Congratulations" either way! Btw, when did he file?
  8. Congratulations on your success with your claim!
  9. Although any movement is good news, be prepared to wait beyond those 33 days. I was happy too when my claim went to prep for decision phase. And that was over 3 months ago. Dec. 14, 2012 it went to decision phase. Of course there are many variables with each claim.
  10. Congrats on the increase! Btw, when did you file?
  11. @SP4RVN ....you don't have to apologize because you didn't say or do anything wrong. Have a good day fellow Texan. Oh, by the way, I AM a Native Texan. Lol
  12. Nashville, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and there's 2 more. Ask and you'll find out next time you call.
  13. There are 7 call centers throughout the nation. For the most part, I think they have limited resources and information. I've only gotten a couple of them that were rude. She was from the Philadelphia call center (I could tell) . When she asked how I could tell which call center she was located, I just laughed. Right now I am still waiting on a reply to an iris that was submitted on March 12, 2012. Peggy tells me to wait 10 working days.
  14. Congratulations! When you find out the ratings, please let us know.
  15. You don't have anything to worry about. My claim did the same thing. And now it's been in decision phase for 3 months. According to vso less than a month left to go. That was over a week ago.
  16. It's good things turned out ok for you. Two years....was this an appeal?
  17. I thought something was wrong when I couldn't access BVA decisions yerterday morning.
