  1. I just logged into myhealthevet just now with no problem. And I logged into it on Sunday and ordered the prescriptions that I received in my mailbox today.
  2. I am sending a big Congratulations from the Lone Star State! Get ready for a Big chunk of change to be dropped into your bank account tomorrow. Is it showing under VA Payment yet? Should also get brown envelope tomorrow.
  3. Just an update....... I had my QTC C/P mental health exam yesterday July 30, 2012 for a possible increase and or IU or hopefully 100% schedular P/T (I am aiming high). The exam went relatively well with questions from the DBQ (Disability Benefits Questionnaire). I also was able to submit progress notes from my treating psychologist and a letter from my former treating psychiatrist. I am now waiting on enough time to lapse to be able to get copies of my QTC exam from my July 20, 2012 examdnd then notes from this one.
  4. Congratulations! Now you'll be able to buy all the GasX you need! Lol ... J.K.
  5. In 2000, I bought a new Dodge truck and the local dealership in Nacodoches, Tx gave me a 1,000 dollar discount for having a CDL (commercial driver's license!
  6. midnight, I went back to an old posting of mine and my mistake..... my claim went to prep for notification on 5/22/12 instead of 5/29/12 and was in my bank on June 1, 2012. They mailed my brown envelope on May 29, 2012 and I rec'd it on May 31, 2012.
  7. Be sure and get your 55 and over discount also. My local IHOP also offers a veteran discount.
  8. Good Luck to both of you guys! I hope that you and midnight340 get your "closure" by Friday where you won't be in suspense over the weekend.
  9. @MarkInTexas.... I have the same thing on my ebenefits and it means they are going to schedule you a C&P exam and the date of 9/22/12 is the suspence date for the Va to have the exam completed and received back in their office from QTC or whomever is is going to do the exam. I would call Qtc @ 1800-545-9448 ext. 1430 and ask them if you are scheduled for an exam. This # is out of San Antonio. Congrats! It sure looks like C&P time!
  10. Well here I am back after my C&P exam for my lower back, cervical spine and headaches, which were deferred at my initial exam including Tdiu. I emerged from the exam relatively unscaithed. I have another exam on July 30, 2012 with the psycgologist for possible increase and/or Tdiu. This exam is with the same Doctor that examined me for Ptsd etc. Here's hoping for some closure with this initial exam.
  11. I believe that you will have a big smile on your face in a few days! My claim went to Prep for Notification on May 29, 2012 and my money was in the bank on June 1, 2012. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! Keep a close check on your bank account. My bank told me the day before it was deposited. Good Luck!
  12. Pete, Here's hoping Good Luck comes your way!
  13. Thanks for info Jon. Well, here's an update.... When I got home today from appointment at my local Va outpatient clinic, I had in my mailbox ANOTHER Qtc exam notification! This one is scheduled for July 30, 2012 with the same psychologist that did the Qtc exam for Ptsd etc. on Nov. 1, 2011 that got me 70% (of my 80% total rating. On the letter Va is asking for an "opinion" I guess for the Tdiu on the psychiatric conditions in my previous post and occupational assessment. The C/P exam tomorrow will be done by a Doctor specializing in Internal Medicine for my exam for Arthritis, Back, Cervical Spine, and Headaches. It appears Houston Varo is following up very quickly to expedite this initial claim and for that I am fortunate (thank the Lord above) and grateful.
  14. Congratulations! Congratulations!
  15. Papa, my claim went to "Preparation for Decision" (the Rating Authority) as Peggy calls it on Dec 14, 2011 and the Varo reached a decision on May 14, 2012. It was 5 months. But you know I made my call to Washington D.C. As it was a hardship case. There are many variables involved and each claim is uniquely different. Good Luck!
  16. @Notorious Kelly .... Thank you for the helpful advice and encouragement!
  17. @Carlie... Per my conversation with a lady from Qtc my exam is for a combination of arthritis, Ptsd, Major Depression, Panic Disorder, Anxiety, Alcohol Abuse in remission, Cervical Spine, Back and Headaches. For some reason the Varo added Arthritis as it was not one of my contentions. On this initial claim, I was awarded 70% Ptsd and 20 % for Right Shoulder. Headaches, Cervical Spine, Back and Tdiu were deferred. I did download copies of DBQ's for Arthritis, Cervical Spine, Back and Headaches. P.S. Check your pm....
  18. I am anxious about my upcoming C/P exam on Friday July 20, 2012 in Sugarland, Tx. I want the doctor to see me at my worst after I drive the 125 miles and navigate traffic through Houston. It probably encompass a better portion of the day....... Sigh :(
  19. I found out this morning that I have a QTC C/P exam for TDIU scheduled for July 20, 2012. It will take place in Sugarland, Tx which is just outside of Houston. The issues at hand are Arthritis, PTSD, Major Depression, Panic Disorder, Anxiety, Cervical Spine, Back and Headaches. Some of these contentions were deferred from my recent award. This is an initial claim. Hopefully, this will be the final chapter in my claims process..... Wish me luck!
  20. Today I received a letter from Houston Varo.... It states as follows.... "We have requested an examination through a private medical facility in order to determine the current level of your disability." Would others that have gotten a similar letter for Tdiu and have had the exam please chime in. I recently had a service connection award with the following deferred: Lower back, cervical spine, headaches, and Tdiu.
  21. Congratulations on your increase!
