  1. BEVB, welcome to Hadit. When your lawyer filed your appeal did you do a DRO review or a traditional appeal? It makes a difference. DRO review are usually a shorter wait. I filed my NOD with a DRO review July 2014, and still have not hear anything on it, but was told that the average time for my RO is 563 days for a DRO review.
  2. congrats on your win!

  4. Yes they will recoup all of it before paying you disability. I was paid SSB when I got out and they recouped all of it before I was paid any disability.
  5. Thanks Pete53, I just got information in the mail yesterday.
  6. Sfcwalk it was 10% Thanks everybody! My biggest claims are being appealed and there is no movement on them in 10 months..
  7. Hello fellow vets! I'm very happy to say that my claim for Pseudofolliculitis Barbae with scars went from preparation for decision to complete in two days. And I was awarded another 10% which puts me at 60%. I was very surprise that I got my BBR in the mail and back pay on the day after it was complete. Wow!! I wish others such luck on their claims!! Also they completed my dependent claim at the same time with back pay too!! Yeah!!!
  8. So I called the 800 number and they told me that the VA hired an independent company to handle dependent claims and they closed one dependent claim and left one open. Well I didn't know I had two dependent claims going at the same time. What will they come up with next?
  9. Well it will be one year next month that I filed my dependent claim and really don't know how close it is to really being complete... I may have to be making some more phone calls!
  10. Chuck75, they both have the same open dates. One claim said compete in historical claims and the shows claim received in open claims. There is no development letter in either claim. I've been checking my bank account and there hasn't been a deposit for the back pay for dependents. I will be calling today and hope to get some answers.
  11. Praying for you! God be with you!
  12. I hope you get a favorable rating, and it's soon. My claim just went to preparation for decision last week and I'm also wanting to know how long it will be in this phase. i know the RO has a lot to do with the time frame.
  13. I checked E-Benefits the other day and it said dependent claim closed 04/09/2015 in historical claims. Well in open claim it show the same dependent claim as be received and still open. Has anybody seen this before? If so, what does it mean?
  14. That's awesome! Congratulation on your awards.
  15. I filed my NOD July 2014, and was told that the Oakland office is taking an average of 553 days for a DRO.
  16. DRO review times differ greatly depending on your RO. Oakland RO is taking an average of 533 days for a DRO review.
  17. The measurement of the scars will have a huge factor.
  18. Good luck on your c&p exam, and your claim. I'm 5 months into my claim and just got a date for my c& p at the end of the month.
