  1. Three years for Compensation Claim, and going on four years for my dependency claim for my wife.
  2. What the Heck is going on with E-benefits Pete992? I have an open dependency claim that has been on going for the last 4 years, and on the 18th of this month a lady from the VA called me and said to reopen another dependency claim through a new Pilot program that has been working fairly quick, and I should see my claim come to an end faster. I asked her if I would lose my original claim date, and she said no. Well since doing that, my original dependency claim dropped off the system, not showing any proof of ever being there, and the new one went from received claim to pending approval on the same date. Bottom line, since doing the Pilot Claim the P&T option feel off. I have check all my letters, and they are still showing as 100% P&T with no further exams. Makes me kind of wonder if it's just a type o mistake, or something else? I'm really not trying to stress over this anymore then I have to. Thanks y'all for your help. Aggie
  3. Hahaha, your'e so right bro. Me too...
  4. Since the last update on E-Beneifits, I notice that the part that shows if you are P&T has reset to neutral. Meaning that, I am 100% P&T but it is only showing 100%, and no P&T. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks in advance. Aggie
  5. I don't see mine yet either, but it does show as a pending deposit with my bank..
  6. Pete I feel the same way. I found that the one's that don't offer us a Military discount sometimes feel a little guilty once I'm done with them that they windup giving me the police discount. Sometimes, I'll except it, and other times I won't, it all depends on their attitude.
  7. I was able to log into E-Benefits today finally, but, now it won't show me Compensation Status, Payment History, nor VA Letters. For a brief minute, I was able to open Benefits Explorer, and it showed the current rating of 100 % which I am, but didn't show me as being P&T which I am. Also seems like they corrected my age though. They have been showing me at 60 which is wrong because I'm 59, not a big deal, but, I am kind of wondering what is actually going on with E-Benefits! Thanks for any replies. Aggie
  8. Congratulations on the award, well done. You deserve it, and hopefully you can get TDIU. Semper FI Marine.
  9. I have been waiting almost 4 years to get my dependency claim done , it is currently sitting at awaiting approval status where it's been for the last 6 months or so. At this point I have given up on asking the VA anymore questions.
  10. Congrats brother, well deserved. Now enjoy your life and family.
  11. Justice will prevail. Hopefully all these employees get fired, or at least get paid at the same rate as our troops that are fighting to keep us free.
  12. Kate, sorry to hear that you and your husband are getting the run around. As for the Camp Lejeune water, what is currently going on with it? I was also in Lejeune from 1976 through 1979, and i am also very sick and currently rated 100 % for other service connected health issues. I haven't started to proceed with a claim on this. Good luck with it all. God Bless. Aggie
  13. Congrats on your win. Well deserved. Also spend wisely on whatever makes you happy Ps: I just love what they did to this website. Very Nice. Thanks Aggiie
  14. Not me. Mine took at the very longest maybe 90 days, and that's because I retired from the Military, and they had to audit my DFAS pay records. I sure hope you get yours soon. Good luck with it all. Aggie
  15. Congratulations my brother on your claim. I find that once they've make a final decision, and award you with the rating, it's only a matter of time for them to release , and pay what they owe you. This is great news, if anyone deserves this, is you, I see that you have been through a lot already. But, now come your payday, enjoy, and spend wisely. Semper Fi Aggie
  16. reddingca: Don't feel bad, or alone on this one. I filed my initial claim in 2010 when I retired from the Military, and in 2012 I was awarded a partial rating of 90% with a couple of issues deferred. So in 2013 when I was rated 100% the VA said that they were missing prior divorce papers, Really? I told them that all the paperwork had been submitted three years prior. Well, they said to re-submit, and I did. So sometime in 2013 e-benefits showed as being received and a new start date of 2012, well here we are in 2014 and my paperwork has been sitting in the Pending Decision Approval for the last 6 months or so, and when I call the VA to ask them whats up with my claim, they basically just tell me the same thing they told you. This is ridiculous, 4 years, come on! Plus they want to short change me by two years, imagine that! These people should be fired, and replaced with all Veterans, because they would get the job done. Good luck, and lets just be patient, and hopefully we'll hear some good news soon. God Bless. Aggie
  17. Please don't miss your appointments. Do what you have too do to make it. Good luck. Aggie
  18. I'm going on 4 years for my dependency, and still no word on when my claim will be finalized, but my initial claim took 2 years. Good luck, and Hang in there. Aggie
  19. Congratulation on your win Marine. It shouldn't be much longer before you receive the brown envelope. Anyway, keep an eye on your bank deposits. You might get a big surprise very soon. Semper Fi. Aggie
  20. Congrats on your award. Enjoy, I also have sleep apnea, something I wouldn't want for my worst enemy, which I don't have, but since you have it just take care and enjoy your win. Aggie:
  21. Congrats Brother. I'm not too sure on this, because my wife has tri-care insurance due to my retirement from the military, and it's the only insurance she has, but, I would be checking on it if I were you. I'm sure someone else has the answer your'e looking for. Anyway Congrats brother, enjoy. Aggie:
  22. Dang! What a way to go bro. Congrats, Good For You :-) Now take care of yourself bro, and enjoy your way overdue award. As for me bro, I just don't know what the heck is going on with my dependency claim, it's not like they don't have everything they need! Hopefully soon. Good Bless, and Enjoy. Aggie:
